He was obviously a shell of himself against Pacquiao, at 145 lbs.

    We all know that.

It's very possible that Oscar probably weighs close to 200 lbs right now. He has not kept himself in physical shape since retiring back in 2007. So cutting more than 40-50 lbs seems a bit too unrealistic and unreasonable to me at his current age of 47.

Yeah Oscar said it to Freddie after they stopped the fight and everyone was together doing the post fight pleasantries.

De La Renta was special 20 years ago because of his speed, chin and fought every top fighter. Even though he lost to most of the big names, his reflexes and and staimia are gone. This will not end well for Oscar.

Jokes aside, he's really setting himself up for a fall here. He should know better than most how age affects all aspects of boxing. And if he doesn't he'll certainly find out when he starts getting touched in sparring.

First and foremost, let’s all put respect behind Oscar’s name. I could care less about what he’s done outside the ring or as a promoter. Inside the ring the Golden Boy was one of the best to ever lace up the gloves. Oscar fought the best of his era win, lose or draw, he never feared any top dawg. De La Hoya was a 6 division world champion that is unheard of now and days. Before all you dumbwits talk cr@p, you be lucky to find any boxer today that would take on the best and toughest challenges. Fook it, Oscar earned the right to comeback if he wants to. Good luck Oscar you made East L.A. proud Golden Boy
