De La Hoya is very underrated, he was one of the all-time greats. Nobody today delivers the kind of excitement that Oscar did. Yes, it's tough at 47, but hey, Hopkins did very well at that age. Not saying he beats everyone but if he can get fit enough, maybe he beats Charlo at middleweight.

At that age, you fight in spurts, you don't throw that many punches of course, as when younger, but there is a path to victory.

Price of coke and lingerie is up during the pandemic so this makes sense.

Look, my last fight with Pacquiao,” De La Hoya said, “I weighed in at 145 and obviously that was a shell of myself.”

Exactly, and how you really think you will somehow get 'yourself' back after 11 plus years of inactivity is laughable.

This is to build up a big money fight against Canelo.
The writing is on the wall. Like he could really beat Cinnabon at his age!

Why would he do that? Blood testing is a normal regulation in the sport now & isn't being mandated by another fighter who is making excuses NOT to fight him

Exactly what I was going to say.

What's sad is no matter where DLH decides to do this, that State's Athletic Commission will license him.
