First don’t ever use old @ss Dirrell as an example why the Benavidez fight could of happen both of them are in separate courses in their career and David is much more valuable to PBC than Dirrell. So you're arguing that Haymon won't make the fight but meanwhile, I'm asking why Oscar or anyone on team Canelo never mentioned his name? They havent had any problems mentioning other fighters on the pbc roster such as dirrell and plant and Charlo and pretending like they want to make those fights. But with benavidez, team Canelo never even uttered his name. They're the ones who have no interest in the fight. Why would Haymon be hesitant to make that fight? Benavidez has a good chance at beating Canelo and worst case scenario, he loses a close shady decision. It's not like Canelo is going to ko him and ruin his career. He doesn't ko any top fighter.. Unless you consider old & twice ko'd Kovalev fighting on 10 weeks rest a top fighter. But he especially won't ko a top fighter who's bigger, stronger and still in their prime. Not to mention, benavidez said, he won't price himself out and called Canelo out. I don't know why it's so hard for you to just admit that Canelo had 0 interest in that belt until benavidez was out of the picture, and the reason why is because he didn't want to fight him.

The 3 best names Canelo has faced that were not 35 and older are trout, Lara and jacobs. Spence has faced Mikey, porter and is about to face Danny Garcia. Danny Garcia has faced prime khan, prime mathysse, prime Thurman, prime porter and about to face spence. All under 30 when he fought them. Loma has faced undefeated Walters, undefeated Russell Jr and about to face undefeated Lopez. I can keep going. So the only thing that seperates Canelo is the estará name value of the 36 yr old little Cotto who already lost 4 times, the 36 yr ggg who you guys say was a hype job anyway and most saw beating Canelo, washed up and twice ko'd alcoholic Kovalev fighting on 10 weeks notice. The WBC bowed down to Canelo's wishes/dictates a few years back, and they haven't stopped genuflecting yet.
I believe that he lost both fights to GGG, even though he waited a good 2 years after it was first proposed.
Then he waited 1 more year before giving him the rematch, and 2 1/2 years wait before the third fight if they agree to by 5/2021.
Canelo has been relying on father time to give him a better chance of winning their fights, and I still think he lost both of their fights.
I actually thought that GGG put more of a hurting on Canelo in their 2nd fight, than he did in their 1st.
That only happened because Canelo was shamed by the fans into fighting, as opposed to boxing.
Canelo is a better fighter than thought he'd turn out to be, and he does deserve credit for his achievements in the ring.
The thing is he's trying to get over on the paying public, and DAZN.
I'm glad that DAZN didn't approve of his next opponent, because he's been ducking the best fighters for the past few years.
DAZN shouldn't promote, or pay him another dollar until he starts fighting the best fighters in whatever weight class he decides to fight at.
You want to be considered the best then you have to fight the best.

I think if Canelo just took that fight then DAZN wouldn't bother him anymore and wouldn't give GGG these freebies either. They only giving him those I think because they know he isn't at fault for the trilogy not happening.

But I agree somewhat that race might be a factor. They should be putting pressure on GGG to fight Andrade if the Canelo fight won't happen while putting pressure on Canelo to fight a top opponent too.

So either they fight each other of fight some other top opponent.
