The bareknuckle fight championship. Boxing promoters didn't take the rise of the early UFC as a serious contender in the fight game and BKFC is even more in the lane of gloved Boxing.

They apparently signed UFC free agent Paige Van Zant to a million+ dollar deal and we know they already got Paulie.

Being an ******* I would say what kinda question is that to be asked, the top guys in boxing ain't even looking at that sideshow as competition. Unless that company starts signing a bunch of contenders outta boxing not the champions then UFC, Top Rank, PBC, DAZN/Matchroom with Hearn an GoldenBoy all those top companies would be sweating for their lively hoods

I don't ever seeing a big name in their prime from UFC or boxing joining that bare knuckle thing. Their jus ain't enough $ for those type of fighters to join

Nah. Its entertaining but its too much of a derivative of boxing to really get that big. MMA was different because it was something entirely new with its own skillset/techniques. Kickboxing is different enough to be its own thing too. BKB is just boxing without gloves.

I say yes they should; Especially if there is a high demand for it. It's another alternative combat sport like the UFC. In a few years, it has the potential of flourishing into becoming a very lucrative business someday; In which both promoters and fighters alike can earn a lot of money from.

Boxing without gloves would probably have continued longer if not the legislations put against it. Now those century old laws have been finally rolled back which is why you can have sanctioned bare knuckle fights now.

Not even a couple decades ago MMA or cage fighting was banned in most states and look how much that exploded. I think NY State only legalized it like 5 years ago.

BKFC would be smart to put out as many shows as possible during the pandemic to get their name out there. If Nevada legalizes it that will be the next step.

BKFC has the UFC model too.

Do you not consider bare knuckle boxing the original form of boxing mind you, to be....boxing?

Bare knuckle boxing is apart of boxing.

I welcome the rise of it etc

They don't have Paulie, he retired from it already after his embarrassing loss.

Paige is going to get wrecked, too. She's never been a solid fist striker, her strength is kicks. That pretty face is about to get mauled - which is why they promised her soft touches to get used to it. It won't help. Her marrying that dude softened her.

BKB (Big Knockout Boxing) had gloves. Gabe Rosado is still the reigning champion.

Maybe you meant BKFC (Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship) or Valor BK (Ken Shamrock's Bare Knuckle deal that hasn't gone anywhere)?

Ishe Smith fought in Valor. Did well but he jacked his hands something fierce
