        Straight up !

And I do respect his explanation. If you don’t have a Sauna and are regulated to working out only an hour per day when you’re trying to cut weight that will certainly have an effect on your ability to do so. If what he says is true about these things I understand. Still, as a pro he should have done whatever needed to be done, but I understand.

I agree with that completely. It is his job to make weight but obviously he trained because he was on fire for 10 rounds. Maybe he has a set way of cutting weight in a normal setting and the pandemic threw a wrench in the gears. I can see alot of fighters having to adjust from the norm.

People just like to hate on the kid they still wont leave the ******* thing alone even though it was years ago and he already paid for it acting like Pernell Whitaker, Oscar De La Hoya, Sugar Ray Leonard, Joe Calzaghe, Alexis Arguello, Aaron Pryor, Mike Tyson, Julio Cesar Chavez Sr, Ricky Hatton and even Tyson Fury have not been on that nose candy at one point or another themselves but it's a drug reserved for gate keepers like someone else said ******* is ****ing expensive dude gate keepers would turn into crackheads if they were on it like that because they wouldn't be making the purses to support that habit.

He missed weight and paid for it again got stripped of his title and is probably not in the best of terms with the WBC not only that but he was fined. Like I said I saw he was way out of shape when camp began and these fights were kind of just thrown together he had no choice but to accept the COVID mess changed protocol and now fighters are going to have to adapt let it be a lesson. No sauna and only 1 hour to hit the gym they need to provide fighters with personal saunas and air bikes at least for their hotels that would leave no excuses.

Lets not forget Mayweather came in 2 lbs overweight intentionally against 135 lber Juan Manuel Marquez who was moving up in weight when the fight was set for months he just paid the fine like nothing and moved on but people like to forget those instances.

More money at 168, I think he tries to make 168 again for sure and he should

Even without that WBC strap, people still want to see Benavidez vs Plant, Benavidez vs Morrell, Benavidez vs Berlanga can be a big fights one day as well as well ad Benavidez vs Callum Smith and BJS across the pond once the Pandemic is over are good fights. Last by not least Of course you have Canelo the Cash Cow at 168 so yeah it would be worth it to make 168 again. That Division might be the best Division in boxing if not now it will be shortly especially if Morrell, Berlanga, Burley Brooks, Lorenzo "Truck" Simpson and the other young fighters in that Division live up to their potential

I really see no reason why the IBF wouldn't make Benavidez their immediate number 1 contender and force Caleb Plant to fight him. But then Caleb Plant might say what every guy with a belt says and that's that he's only looking to unify and so Benavidez needs to go get a strap first. Yep. That's what they all do. Even Canelo

Kid knows Bivol outboxes him and Beterbiev eats him alive.

If Slow Smith Jr can tag Bivol so can Benavidez they have sparred before I don't think David would be afraid of that fight even at 175. Beterbiev will be a hard outing for anybody but the 2 I think have the best chance of beating him are Benavidez and Ramirez based on their size and range Eleider Alvarez would pose problems as well but that fight won't happen because they are stable mates.

Dude is absolutely huge at 68. Just move up. He won’t be undersized at 75 either. No one is going to feel confident going into a big fight with him at 68 with the dude potentially not making weight then not even bothering to use the extra time to try.

It obviously IS a lifestyle thing with it costing him the title again. It could be part of his edge, who knows. Let’s see what the future holds. He’s way too good for him to be letting himself lose his titles outside the ring like this.

Man is going on being a three time wbc champ at 168 and only fights at this class and has never lost or retired.
