Absolute BS of the highest order with that Mexican chit-c u n t Mauricio Sulaimán looking out for his own. First he protected Canelo from having to fight Charlo and now this... I mean look at the WBC rankings at 168 ffs! Canelo is nowhere to be seen in the top 15! What is the point of even having rankings at this point if somebody can seemingly just come in from out of nowhere and leapfrog everybody?

That franchise concept is a load of crap - lets face it it was only made to ensure it makes the WBC more money, we all know this, although awarding it to a convicted PED user is highly controversial. As for the fight - another garbage fighter for Canelo to win yet another vacant title from, nothing groundbreaking as usual. Not a legit belt and definitely an awful fight. Picking up a vacant strap in a gimme fight like this isn't legit, especially when Canelo did nothing to earn the shot. He's not in the rankings, he doesn't even have the diamond belt like Smith does. The fact he's called up for a vacant title he didn't earn a shot for is a joke.

You’re a fake fan doe. Nobody cares about the Yildirim fight. The purpose of this approval is that WBC knows Matchroom wasted months with GBP. The WBC must be upset with Benavidez. The WBC are giving boxing fans the unifications needed at 168. And as far as legal, GBP and the WBC can assist the #2 with any fee necessary since its lucrative. By the #2 accepting The circumstances shreds the idea of hating on this fight.
