Judging by his last fight, I doubt Smith could beat Yildirim.

And I’m a fan of David.
I had great expectations for him, but he keeps disappointing us.

Looks like a classic head case who, most probably, won't fulfil his potential.

Yes, I agree, a different conversation! However, I don't think that "the same amount of money will be there regardless". If a unification it probably would have been ppv but, at least for now, that sales pitch is gone and it's gotta affect the financials.
If Plant is looking to unify then, unless Benevidez has a title, why would he make that fight?
          Thanks

What’s with this newest thing in boxing that calls for commenting in every thread about a freaking promotional company? Do you folks catch woodies at the mere mention of a promoter? FFS give it a rest already. No one gives two sh! ts about a damned promotional company.

Who cares if it ain’t for a unification! You beat the best fighter in the division, And that opens up a showdown with Canelo. What is the problem? You beat Benavidez as a good looking marketable white boxer and name your price. It makes business sense but more
Importantly shows the heart of a champion. Stay at the weight or move up to 175 and continue to strive for greatness.

Key being a potential Canelo fight.

The drive just isn’t in fighters anymore and it’s disgusting. Boxing was never about this, but change is inevitable.

Real talk I’m really close to just getting off the Internet completely because I’m better off being ignorant to all the sissies in boxing.

“Romero, 24, and Marinez, 29, will fight for the WBA’s interim lightweight title, one of four WBA titles in that same division”

This part disgust me more than the main event guy missing weight.

say what you want about Mayweather, but he would never lose a title on the scale.

He will never move up to 175. He's content fighting the Angulo's and Kyrone Davises of the world
