Footballers agreed to reduction of salaries from March to June based off the revenue from those months. That’s what was reported. Not really a loss at all. How does that relate to boxing? We’re already heading to September

Of course it is a loss. They were contracted to be paid and they waived it.

Again, what were the games from March-June. Those 4 months. Cite the games.

That really doesn't make a difference though. Those players are paid weekly and they took the pay cut because the clubs were not making as much revenue. Their pot was smaller. Boxers are paid as and when they fight, and here the revenue pot will be smaller.

It doesn't have to be the exact same to a T.

Apologies for the late response. Not been online.

As to GGG specifically I would say he should be more inclined to work with DAZN since hes got some small ownership in the company. GGG needs DAZN to succeed or he's pissed some of his DAZN deal money away that in theory could be a 8 or 9 figure retirement fund payday at some future date.
Early guys get money .... new guys don’t get paid what they deserve..

Unless it's in the contract OR DAZN was forced into making that contract, those MFers are on the hook.

Because if it goes to an ajudicator under a corporate restructuring he could get nothing.

Yea but that's future money isn't it so it's not like he'll definitely see it? If DAZN can't fulfill the rest of the agreed to contract by all parties & let's assume Canelo can make better money elsewhere than this new restructuring pay why would he wanna stick with DAZN? How could DAZN keep him for less than market value? That doesn't compute to me.

Granted in this situation its not as easy as the above since it sounds like GBP is a middleman between DAZN & Canelo, but the basic premise seems to stand.
