The most legitimate sanctioning body: IBF, WBC, WBO, or WBA?

at the moment? the IBF hands down. the WBA and the WBC are competing to see who is the most disastrous of the two and the WBO is top rank's belt.

ps: the WBC is the most beautiful belt of them all, such a shame the organization sucks so bad right now.

The IBF is the best at following its own rules most of the time, but their rankings are terrible and as a result they often end up disrupting big fights to force a mandatory against a bum. If the IBF had better rankings they'd be the best by far.

The WBA is an absurd joke at this point, and is a PBC trinket at this point.

The WBO is basically owned by Arum and Warren.

The WBC is the best by sanctioning body by default, but that's a low bar and they're quickly becoming the next WBA with this Franchise nonsense.

The Ring used to be the best championship-awarding organization but when DLH bought it he compromised its integrity.

Right now the TBRB is the most credible organization in my opinion.

WBA is a joke because of their dual champion policy... IBF is a joke when it comes to the quality of mandatories and they have 10-pound limit... WBO is a TR belt and their champions from other divisions can become a mandatory to another champion whenever they want to fight their division's champion...

The only possible critique of the IBF is that the mandos are often weak. That is because the IBF doesnt just make you a mando because your promoter handed over an envelope. To become ranked #1 or #2 in the IBF you must fight an eliminator against someone else in the top 10. Most of the prima donna fighters will not do that.........

To anyone saying IBF, I know their ratings and enforcement of mandatories has been very consistent, but that's all irrelevant when their rankings are complete sht. Somehow scrubs from obscure countries no one has heard of become number one contenders.

Also, their mandatories usually get in the way of big money fights or unifications that people want to see. So it makes sense that a fighter would rather dump their IBF belt for a big fight rather than take on some dude named Sjfiqofifwkchenkowitz from who knows where.

Again, the IBF rankings are complete sht because the promoters don't want consistent ratings and enforcement.

They would rather be able to manipulate the rankings for their fighters so they steer them down the path of the WBA, WBO and WBC instead.

We should encourage more of the IBF procedures in boxing. It's the scammer promoter mentality that we need to discourage.
