The reason the IBF rankings are so bad is because established guys don’t want to fight for the belt because they know they’ll have mandatories imposes on them that cannot be avoided.

That, and also the so-called established fighters back out of tough eliminators and final eliminators, which simply allow lower ranked fighters to step up and overtake them.

Get rid of the rest and let’s combine the colors of the WBC/WBA with the IBF and call it the GBF (Global Boxing Federation), an take all the good the WBC does for past fighters and add on to there while keeping the IBF’s integrity!

Boxing would be back to the number 1 sport if that happened!

Rules should always be followed not the fighter’s or promoter’s demands. That’s what IBF does. What the other orgs are doing are reasons why boxing’s prestige is quickly losing

Boxing is more of a politics/business now than a plain sport
