I'm not in 5th grade so I don't need you to explain anything other than why you criticize other fighters for avoiding fights but not Loma.

Lets assume Loma declined to fight Haney.

Okay so instead of fiighting Haney.. he's fighting another champion IN THE SAME DIVISION... In order to unify titles...

Do you ****ing understand what the **** you're saying? You sound like a little pissed off little kid who's parents won't buy him a ****ing toy in the grocery store.

      This is ****ing sad.

It isn’t a hypothetical. He actually did this.

Here is what I am saying- I don’t think it is acceptable to accept a franchise title that removes the obligation to defend against the mandatory challenger.

This is especially egregious when the challenger avoided is a low reward, high risk fight.

I think most boxing fans agree.

The point of this thread -you and others did agree with my opinion above when Canelo was awarded the franchise/emeritus title. Then Loma did it there wasn’t criticism from the same people.

Let’s discuss why this difference occurs.

I think the franchise title, the 'silver' belts the 'regular' belts are 100% complete bull****.

As do I. Given you feel this way, I can't understand why you responded to my post with such anger and vitriol to my responses in this thread. I was one who killed both Canelo and Loma equally for the move.

I get why he did it as well. Happens in boxing all the time. Top guys delay the "high risk, low reward" fight until after they've had the more winnable big money fight. I don't know why anyone would expect Loma to operate differently given he is a top boxer, many would argue the top p4p in the world.

Yes. I've posted repeatedly out of Teo, Tank and Haney I believe Haney would be the toughest for Loma only because of the attributes he has.

Haney is the least tested of the 3. However, he has size, height, arm length and speed over Loma and as much or maybe even slightly more athleticism. This will allow him to fight on the outside. IMO, the best way to defeat Loma is to keep him from getting on the inside where his skillset overwhelms most noxers.

Tank's arms IMO are too short and Loma would outbox and jab him before a late stoppage. Teo has a puncher's chance for sure, but I don't know if he can keep Loma from getting inside and outboxing him.

Not saying Haney would beat Loma, but I love the clash of styles.

Tank has the best chance to beat Loma, period. Small guys like Loma and Tank have been fighting guys bigger than them their entire lives. Their gift is creating offense against people who are usually bigger than than they are. No one at 130-135 can beat Loma just by being longer and bigger.

Tank and Loma will dance on the inside together and it will be a war of will. Tanks amateur record is ridiculous and he doesn’t get credit for his skill set because of the knockouts. Truth is, him and Loma are very accurate and precise in their punches...Tank just has a hell of a lot more pop. Unfortunately that fight won’t happen for a while, if ever.

Lord knows I want Lopez (he would be better for bringing attention to the sport) to win but I just wouldn’t bet on it. That’s like betting against Mayweather, Ward, or Canelo. It goes against all logic.

You know your boxing. Davis beats Loma up, literally, within 10 rounds. The best post in this thread. Green K.

Not sold on Haney at all. Dimensions don't always win you fights. My 3rd guy is Shakur, with Garcia and Haney at similar level at 4. After Lopez, I only wanna see Davis-Loma. I'll retire from being a fan of boxing and posting on here, if Loma comes close to beating Davis.
