you sound mad. Or is it sad? Can't tell if you're yelling or weeping over an opinion on a boxing forum. Fury is an undefeated heavyweight champion. Heavyweight has historically been the most important division in boxing and being the hw champion has been the most prized possession in the sport. Fury defeated the previous long time reigning champion xovercame adversity and then convincingly stopped an undefeated world champion. To me, that's better than Joshua quitting vs a fat 30-underdog or Canelo getting help from judges anytime he's in a close fight. But they get the loyal groupie fan boy support.

They allowed 2 years of TRT, knowing guys like Vitor and Hendo were juiced to the gills beating up guys who were not. When has that happened in Boxing? Sit your dumb a$$ down.

          Excellent point.

Agreed. The two Wilder fights solidified it. He's a heavyweight. He's charismatic and speaks English. That 12th round knockdown and the subsequent beat down in the rematch solidified it.

My casual fight fan friends were all talking about Fury after those fights. Canelo not so much.

No question that Canelo is the current face of boxing. He got some of that Mayweather shine from when they fought, and people also widely know him from the Golovkin and Cotto fights.

Tyson Fury sold only 3,577 tickets two fights ago against Otto Wallin in Las Vegas.

Lol. Fury “waited” out a 40 year old Klitchko and he fought a “one dimensional bum” in Wilder remember?

AJ shown more adversity than Fury.

And Ruiz and Canelo? Bruh Mexican Bidnesss consumes your souls! You can’t stop that culture’s fiyah!!! And everyone loves it!

Canelo is still the face of boxing for now based on his history of doing big numbers. But Fury is probably more recognized globally at this point, and has more momentum. Canelos popularity mainly comes down to his following in one massive country of 130m people + the tens of millions more of those people who reside in the US tuning in. Its like a larger scale version of how AJ does big numbers solely based on his UK fanbase.

I will always pick a Boxing card over any UFC card. That sport has a lot of issues, I mean they legit let fighters juice and compete for a good while. It was like if Boxing let Miller still fight after his PED issue.
The UFC has some of the strictest drug testing in sports these days since they introduced USADA.
