My view is that Wilder probably does want the fight, for a payday if nothing else, but behind the scenes his handlers and promoters are trying to find a way out because there’s no way they can cover the guarantees on a third, pointless fight.

That 3-fight deal with DAZN involving 2 fights with AJ seemed simple enough and was more than he got with fights against Fury, so what obstacles are you talking about? Why didn’t PBC/Fox come up with a counter offer if they thought they could do better?

Instead, he was too busy with counting another man’s purse rather than looking at legacy and look where that has got him.

What do you mean? Every man has a price, 28 mill should be more than enough to keep Wilder happy an tucked away at his home unless he wants to fight the winner or Whyte!

I don’t agree or disagree the reasons why Wilder would want to fight Fury again cuz as a fighter with your first defeat especially that way you either want to get revenge as a competitor or make bank cuz it’s the prizefighting game after all so it could be both!

I doubt Team Wilder don’t want the fight as it will pad all their pockets and a chance for Wilder to win if possible!

And the DAZN deal for Wilder was trash lol the CEO even apologized about it cuz he knew the offer wasn’t as strong as he thought!

How can you make a contract with someone else’s name attached to it without their signature?

When that deal was brought up to both Hearns and AJ they both looked like they was shocked!

Both of them said they needed to see the numbers before anything was signed so all that talk about AJ being in the deal was as they say rubbish!

Now I do think if Wilder couldn’t get DAZN to make AJ/Hearns sign on a contract for a fight then do like Mikey an take a one fight deal for that Breazeale fight where DAZN was willing to pay Wilder more for than Showtime was!

I agree with Wilder was worried about the wrong thing on how much AJ was getting paid when he should’ve been looking at his team on why DAZN was willing to pay him more than they were themselves!

This was back when Ortiz was closer to his prime an started to build his reputation!

AJ had a choice between Takam and Ortiz and he chosed Takam cuz he an his team knew Takam isn’t as big of a challenge as Ortiz was!

So that’s when Ortiz went the WBC route cuz he didn’t want to wait, same thing Dillion Whyte is doing today, he didn’t want to wait for the AJ rematch so now he’s going after the belt so he won’t get low balled again!

People have amnesia that Team AJ has a history of bait/switch tactics and low ball offers against people who are dangerous unless they feel the reward is significant (ie. Wilder, Whyte, Prime Ortiz, etc.)

As far as Serrano goes, how did she drag her feet when she signed a 3 fight deal and said she thought the first 2 fights on the deal would be the Taylor fight yet it never happened and the third fight which was pushed back understandably cuz of the Plandemic and now she has to fight Edwards back garden?

She would’ve needed a KO to win so I understand why she walked away but eventually it will all come to light on who dropped the ball!

No it’s all about avoiding being low balled by Team AJ when they love to low ball threats unless the reward is significant, FairPlay to AJ for pimping his A side status but let’s be fair and honest here!
I too wanted to see Joshua Vs Ortiz and was excited when he signed. However, he did fail to live up to expectations and realistically a guy like Ortiz has to make a bit of splash. I'm not saying that it's right or fair but it's the truth.

Takam was IBF's next man up when Pulev turned down his mandatary shot so I'm not seeing where there was a choice between him and Ortiz.

Whyte's WBC path predates the Joshua rematch offer by a long way as we all know. "1000 days" etc.

Wilder turned down $100 million to fight Fury for less and the offers prior were far in excess of what he'd been making.
In return we have a $50 million offer which Frank Warren of all people is on camera saying was basically unworkable and he hates Hearn more than you can imagine.

As for Serrano, as far as I understood the Taylor fight was to be the third fight, with the prior two used to build it up a bit. Hearn got her a vacant title shot and a showcase defence for money that she is on record as being very happy about.
Then when it's time to do the Taylor fight we hear about all sorts of problems and unhappiness and this was before the whole lockdown situation.
Interestingly, her promoter Lou diBella says in a recent interview that the Taylor fight is "revivable".

Ortiz didn’t live up to expectations which is why he didn’t get the fight an got dropped yet AJ fought Takam who people knew even less about IMO!

Let’s be frank it was too much risk for Team AJ and they knew it!

Ortiz was mandatory for the WBA so there was a choice and AJ chosed Takam!

Joshua turned down 50 million and Hearns admitted it was real on camera, mentioning a middle man in the big leagues like Frank Warren isn’t A good source of reference when plenty times he was looked foolish when announcing things and then the Big fish parties involved all had to debunk what he says!

Let’s not forget also that AJ was the one that asked for it an said he would sign if there was an offer and all of that was on camera as wel!

That 100 million deal was non compliant as AJ’s signature wasn’t even in the contract so like Hearns eventually said they would need to see the numbers an likely things would’ve been adjusted!

Hearns sold DAZN a lie about how he can get Joshua-Wilder on DAZN an they fell for it and are now in the danger zone for ROI’s thanks to Hearns for overspending on horrible fights and not getting the big fights done!
        These are all public facts!

Like I said about the Serrano ordeal we’ll soon know the truth when everything comes to light but the fact Hearns crying about getting money back that he chosed to pay for his fighters opponents training tells me all we need to know about what’s going on Eddie’s back garden!

If you’re the B side you need a KO to win! Just look at Harper vs Jonas for example!

IMO I felt honestly Serrano should’ve took the deal and train for the knockout especially since it’s literally in her opponent’s promoter backyard an be done with it but I also understand that it’s not position you wouldn’t want to be in even for career high payday!

Not everything is black and white!

Whyte is easier fight for Fury than Wallin was, but much better ranked fighter, Fury should fight him and shut up the critics.

Didn't Ortiz get dropped from the WBA rankings for drugs around that time? Also, the bodies were working their mandatories in rotation and, as far as I'm aware, it was the IBF's turn.
We also have Ortiz turning down the New York fight having said that he was willing to step in for any amount of money.

I've yet to see or hear anyone debunk Warren on that particular issue.
I have seen Al Haymon's man Tim Smith insist that Haymon would decide when the fight happens, dismissing Hearn as a non factor and I've seen Finkel say that the offer was good but "we want millions to see it and DAZN doesn't have that".

It’s a waste of time, we already missed one super heavyweight fight for all the marbles cuz of marination and yes it was ducking when the A side isn’t being fair at all in the negotiations and kept moving the goalposts while with other B sides they made it simple and got it done!

People in history will remember that AJ wanted no parts of an undefeated Wilder while Fury had the bàlls to get in there twice!

Get the fight done by any means before we miss out on another super heavyweight fight that boxing needs!

Wilder-Fury 1 was a classic and the rematch was entertainingly one sided but nothing trumps what Fury-Joshua will bring or what Joshua-Wilder when they were undefeated would’ve brung!

                Unifications trumps mandatories!
Everyone has a price but not everyone can afford that price...Bob Arim has a vested interest in Pulev so he would prefer to have both Fury and Pulev with all the belts. Hearn won't be able to buy out Pulev.

You need to be realistic, there is far too much politics in boxing, nothing is ever easy when it comes to making fights...
