Honor the contract and just do what Bob Arum tells you to do, Frank.

It wasn't Fury who ducked Dillian for 2 years and blocked him from getting his mandatory shot. Tyson only won the title Feb this year and hasn't been able to fight anybody since then because of the covid lock down.Comment

Whyte has been desperate to fight Wilder for a long time. I wouldn't be at all surprised if he agreed this situation as long as the winner of Whyte Wilder was given a chance at the unified champion.
In all honestly though, this is boxing. Boxing never works out how you would like it to (not these days at least)Comment

Warren's idea is too far-fetched. Team Wilder have a valid rematch clause in their contract. If Fury attempts to fight someone before Deontay Wilder he can be held in contempt or face a court injunction.Comment

WBC will also strip him. He'd lose a big chunk of money thats for sure.Comment

I said it elsewhere, I meant it and will keep saying it - I don't care who Fury fights, don't care if they don't have a pulse, I just want activity.Comment

You're right about that! It's without question he will be stripped. Then Wilder would be left out in the cold because you know that Eddie Hearn and Matchroom will deliberately and intentionally freeze him out of Heavyweight contention.Comment

Wilder can’t hold up someone’s career just because he has a rematch clause . They will see it will be over a year so if Fury sets a date this year and Wilder declines it’s on him . The only thing Wilder can do is issue the rematch but he’s in no position to set terms should he Fury decide to give him a date to agree on it will then skip Wilder if he declines any date proposed. The WBC is not going to remotely strip Fury if one guy is balking and the champion has a mandatory due they will laugh at Wilder and tell him to go kick rocks .Last edited by REDEEMER; 08-11-2020, 11:34 PM.Comment
