HBO really dropped the ball towards the end. it almost seemed like they put all their hopes into fighters like loma ggg and kovalev. once they were on the decline. they started to bow out... might be just showtime and ESPN now from the looks of it but with top rank always putting on shet shows how long will ESPN last?

Boxing went to **** when haymon and Richard Shaffer split from golden boy...before that we were constantly getting golden boy/top rank shows

I cancelled my subscription once empty suit Nelson destroyed boxing at HBO. Last year of shows was pathetic. Nelson isn't qualified work in the HBO parking garage, let alone run sports division, in my humble opinion.

He should have submitted his letter of resignation a long time ago. What other sports do HBO has other than Boxing? I can't think of one outside of its sports documentaries.

Peter Nelson was not suited for HBO at all. He defunded and ruined the HBO sports, which had a rich history regardless of some commentators, in lieu of crap. The way he pulled the plug was an embarrassment to sports programming.
Put somebody like Lou Dibella back in the sports dept.

Been watching a lot of fights on YouTube due to the lack of fights lately, & man I've gotta say HBO was just top notch in terms of production. Saturday night fights on HBO just felt different. The 24/7s, Lampleys excitement, Roys insight, Kellerman always disagreeing with Lederman lol. It was just different.

Showtime is the next best thing but it'll never be as good as HBO was. Now with Paulie out I'm hoping they find a better replacement than Abner Mares. Heres to hoping they give Roy a call after he's done with his exhibition.

Fox sucks. DAZN sucks. ESPN just okay, I'm starting to like the chemistry between Joe, Andre and Timmy.

I won't hold my breath for an HBO return to boxing. But you can never say never.

BX I agree with ya! I feel that ESPN team coming around, but they need to drop Mark Kreigal, imo. Mannix has got ro go from Dead zone.
