    I think he wants 2.5. He'll settle for 2.

Where's the money gonna come from? I thought ESPN gave them a budget of $5 million? $3.8 Loma and $1.2 Teo?

I read that the budget is $4.8, and Teo was offered $1.2M? That's not going to get it done!

Regardless, 1M 2M or 3M. Lopez, stick a fork in him, he’s done.

Either way thats a small budget to work with on guys highly ranked and this skilled.

I like $2 mill for teo and 3.8 or.6 for Loma.

Loma bring 3 belts and Teo 1. They need throw in a lil more $$ because Loma under $4 mil is a steal. And I think Teo a $2 mill is also.

ESPN already ***ed by Corona virus so boxing the best sport to pick up the slack for NBA/MLB/College Football.

Wayyy less ppl to worry about instead of an entire team.

Case Study: Mayweather vs Pacquiao. Remember when Bob Arum was going to the media just prior to the fight being made?

He was telling everyone he had sent Haymon a contract. Even photo copied a contract. Sent it to the media. This was after saying to make deals you conduct them in silence. You don’t negotiate through the media. He said that he was awaiting Mayweather’s signature.

However... later it came out that Floyd or Haymon had never even seen or discussed terms and therefore never seen the contract. That is when Mayweather and Pacquiao came together in Florida on that fateful night at an NBA basketball game. That is when the real negotiation began.
I hear what you are saying; however, there are some critical differences here:
                    1. This is an inhouse fight. Regardless of what Arum is doing, he's been putting this kid on the fast track and has been very happy with him. The fact that now he's going to try to screw him over seems very unlikely. He's not trying ot negotiate with a competitor.
                    2. The other issues is that this is not two different promotors saying different things; this is the Lopez crew saying contradictory things among themselves. It's one thing to have Arum and Haymon contradicting each other but quite a different story when you have Lopez's manager saying something different than Lopez and Lopez Sr. That's a WHOLE different story. There should be no reason for miscommunication or contradiction.

Whether they are scared, I can't speak on that. But I can speak on the internal inconsistency of what's coming out of the Lopez camp, and that some of the stuff said so far is just not true. It looks like an attempt to continually try to make the other guy look bad with untruthful statements.

I have to call it how it is, regardless of how others feel about the situation.

Tank is basically cherry-picking a smaller, past it west coast fighter with a big Hispanic fanbase bc he cant draw Ppv on his own or against another black fighter....blind in one eye past it Mares was the 1st choice! Vast majority of experts/writers/analysts are picking Tank by Ko. Won’t b paying $80 for that one.
I disagree with everything. Although I favor Gervonta, Leo could walk him down at 130.

You must really think highly of Gervonta because Santa Cruz is tough as nails and has a relentless work rate.

You are talking about him as if he is not the current WBA’s lightweight champion? Lol...Why is it every time a black fighter faces a non black fighter they instantly grow old, become too young or have an injury? We know what’s up.

The fight will be huge. Put away the reality spinning anti-hype reducing ray already. Your model is quite ineffective. Davis vs Santa Cruz is a big fight. And its a good fight. Either fighter will become a bigger star than before.
