Well, someone is lying, and I'm sure it's not Boxing Scene. You can't be hit for libel when you're reporting the truth. So that means that someone in the Lopez camp is lying. It's either the manger or the Lopez's or both. Because we keep hearing that they were offered 3 million to 3.2 million previously.

So what is it? They never got a financial number or they got 3.2 million and are being shorted? Which one is it? He was telling everyone he had sent Haymon a contract. Even photo copied a contract. Sent it to the media. This was after saying to make deals you conduct them in silence. You don’t negotiate through the media. He said that he was awaiting Mayweather’s signature.

However... later it came out that Floyd or Haymon had never even seen or discussed terms and therefore never seen the contract. That is when Mayweather and Pacquiao came together in Florida on that fateful night at an NBA basketball game. That is when the real negotiation began.

As stated in the beginning, this does not appear to be about either fighter being scared. It is about a promoter trying to control their money. And I would not be surprised if Bob made these things up to meet his own benefit or goals.

Both are really great fighters. Loma is more accomplished and clearly the man to beat. However casuals knowing and watching are two different things.

Both fighters have strong hardcore followings with some casual interest. Both need each other for this PPV. Problem is many of you are acting like Loma is already in PPV position. It’s simply not true or it would have been happening .

I don’t think this fight even belongs on Ppv even though it should b a barn-burner ... should b on ESPN plus. Just like Tank v Lsc should b on Showtime.

It’s up to Loma and Teophemo to sell this. Loma is going to have to be more boisterous. But Teophemo already seems set to play the heal. He is already disrespecting Loma. They have ESPN as media channel. This will not be a huge PPV but if promoted and invested well it should make a profit.

Disagree... Davis vs Santa Cruz will be huge. Davis is a celebrity for the Black Americas metros and already in PPV position. Leo is popular On the west coast and those Mexican fans will come out to support is attempt to drown Davis. This fight will be big enough. It has all the raw ingredients for a polarizing romp. I feel more confident about the latter than the former. It’s not the players it’s the promoters. If Bob And ESPN distract the accountants and invest they will get the return. have to disagree on the Tank fight belonging on Ppv...serious boxing fans know this is a mismatch! Old smaller,slow, past-it, pillow-fisted Lsc is just cashing out. Tank is basically cherry-picking a smaller, past it west coast fighter with a big Hispanic fanbase bc he cant draw Ppv on his own or against another black fighter....blind in one eye past it Mares was the 1st choice! Vast majority of experts/writers/analysts are picking Tank by Ko. Won’t b paying $80 for that one.
