Tank imo is just another Adrian Broner. He's a more ego than talent and a guy that can win championships but won't be the best.

People talk alot about tanks power but power isn't one of those things that travels upwards in classes with you. Also consider Tank is what, 5'3"-5'4"? Someone that short is almost guaranteed to struggle as his opponents get bigger and there are a lot of big dudes at 135 and 140.

totally agree! Pbc following the A.Berto protection plan to a tee!! Will b exposed - just like Berto was by Ortiz and Broner by Maidana - if he mans up and fights the best at 135 instead of pursuing past-it, pillow-fisted, smaller Hispanic fighters(Mares/Lsc) with big fan bases.

I just read that Loma is willing to take less to make the fight happen. I didn't see a number associated with the less amount however it would indicate he wants the fight and has alot of confidence in beating Lopez.

It will be interesting to see how Teo and his team handle this.

If it happens, I think it's a tough fight for Loma early on. If he can survive the early onslaught and start using hand and foot speed...I wouldn't be surprised if Lopez gets incredibly frustrated and pulls a "no mask". Teo is a skilled and dangerous fighter but his confidence can be rattled.

        • I just read that Loma did just that , will be taking a pay cut from his purse to be given to Lopez to make this fight happen

          • Pollopez is mayweathering Lomachenko because he knows he will be destroyed. ANother coward fraud pretender exposed.

Yes Bomochenko was handed a world-title, how do you even get a shot for a championship in your second professional fight? A better question is, what made Lomachenko worthy to compete for the title that he failed to capture, immediately after taking a loss? Don't you have to earn a title shot?

But I forgot, Bumchenko does not have to that ; Vasily is privileged, the sanctioning bodies ignore all the contenders ranked on their ratings and offer this fraud undeserved opportunity after opportunity. Now we have to hear this nonsense, how Lomachenko tied this record, that record...but nobody will tell you about all the help he had.

You talk about a green Gary Russel jr? What the hell has he done? He never fights the other champions at featherweight! The great Gary Russell jr. that fights once every two years, maybe thats the secret to his long title reign.

I have to call BS on this. First, Lomachenko signed with the promoter who would get him a championship bout first. He went to several, and it was Top Rank that said they could do it. They followed the WBO's regulations. He was able to fight for a regional belt, fighting Jose Ramirez. Second, according to the WBO regulations, those with regional titles will be given priority in the rankings. This is why he was able to challenge Salido for the WBO Featherweight Title. These are all given in the regulations of the WBO, and the committee sanctioned it. And you can say it's corrupt, but it really isn't corrupt.

What you don't realize is that Lomachenko participated in the World Boxing Series. There he was 7-0-0. This is why he fought for the regional title and then challenged Salido for the world title.

Then, after losing a close fight by split decision, the WBO order Russell to fight for the vacated title. With Lomachenko now being 7-1, he was also ordered to fight for the title after Gary. And that's how that happened, all according to the regulations established by the WBO.

As for Gary, he's well known for being an avoided boxer. He's had a history of difficulty in making fights, and that's why he fights so infrequently and probably why he's been losing his mind lately, IMO.

Anyway, there's nothing patently corrupt with a second fight for a title. If Top Rank weren't able to get that fight for him, it would have been a breach of contract. But I think you also fail to realize that he fought in the World Boxing Series and was 6-0.

Hey. That's not my problem, that's yours. ****** reason to be dumb. But you clearly have no issues with being a complete jack ass. Less power to you!!!

If that's the case, then shut your dumb ass up cause you are basically *****ing about something, a championship belt, that you clearly have no respect for and could care less about.

So keep on being a douchebag. I won't stop you.

The bold: Good idea. I never really looked at it that way.

Despite what these alts and trolls say, I want the Lopez-Lomachenko fight next. It looks like, as I kept saying, it will be at almost 50/50. 2.5 mil each. I don't mind Lopez taking 2 so Loma can save face too.

My argument has never been Loma should reduce his purse. I never argued that, not even once. They should pay him more actually, that's what I said. I was just saying Arum shouldn't stiff Lopez. (When Cotto tried to stiff GGG out of his step aside fees, I made a thread right here, and put pressure on Cotto, although I never liked GGG. Some remember.) I like Loma.

It will never happen at anything less than 2 mil. Arum is the one stiffing the fighters. Screw him.

If that makes me a Black Supremacist or an LDBCer, as Loma fanboys refer to all African American posters on here, I wear that title with pride. (LDBC are softies, tho.)

                      War Boxing!

(Quick note: The guy you are responding to has been around for years, just a new handle.)
