Is it really worth buying a PPV in boxing?

Fans need to think first before buying a PPV.
Especially when they're only selling the main fight
    headed by greedy fighters.

This sport can't go on like this in which promoters are
putting all their financial weight in just one fight, then
    pepper it with undercard crap.

The money should be spread out and award the money
on more deserving fighters like promising talents.

... the same here... in fact, I can't even pay for PPVs because of my geographic location...

This thread probably doesn't belong in this forum
as most so-called hardcore fans don't buy PPVs.
I should find a forum for casuals.

What gets me is these constant cries of lowball offers
when these same folks can't even shell out $20.

You'd wonder where these investors are going to get their money back from?

I'd say it's an individual situation for everyone. If your finances are light or you feel it's simply not a good use of your disposable income by all means you shouldn't be ordering any PPV you feel is not worth the cost.

I am a big fan of the value UFC cards bring & I'd love for boxing to replicate that. The reality for me doe is it's still not worth buying a UFC PPV usually & I'll almost always stream it. Meanwhile I buy far less loaded boxing PPV events cuz I prefer boxing & supporting boxers/boxing people.

Things will never change if fans continue to support
PPVs with only the main card they're selling.

They should add at least one co-main event is all this thread is about.
It's not too much to ask doe.

Let's say 90% of the budget goes to the 2 greedy fighters in the main card,
why not spread all that financial weight and come up with at least 3 main cards
headed by less greedy fighters with promising future, on their way to stardom, etc.?
