Are you insinuating that Devin Haney is not the actual WBC lightweight champion? That could not be what you mean, champions are charged with important duties, namely, defending their title.
Regrettably, Vasily Lomachenko does not meet this qualification as WBC champ, Vasily has done the opposite of defending the crown ; he surrendered the championship. That in my opinion, is considered worse than brutal humiliating defeat in the ring.
If Devin Haney had vacated the WBC lightweight title, I'm sure you would never let us hear the end of it. I know I wont let Bumchenko fans forget, that's for sure.Last edited by 1hourRun; 08-07-2020, 02:27 AM.Comment

It’s not his money at all, it’s $$$ he’s made from Top Rank. He ripped the majority of his “stars” and has extra $$$. Don’t feel bad for that piece of ****Comment

With these young guns feeling they are at his level or even better than him (Davis), his AMATEUR gold medals, bogus belts by crooked bribed orgs, tiny resume filled with mostly bums, don't matter. He's not what the fanboys perceive he is.
Lomachenko doesn't even have one career defining fight in the pros. Please name ONE. If he retired today, nobody would care, except maybe for those who like amateur boxing. No proboxing memories to remember him by.
Stop the hype.
Feel free to tell me which of these guys have a career defining fight and who it was.
Tank Davis
Teofimo Lopez
Ryan Garcia
Devin Haney
Come on. For a big talker like you this should be easy.
Now tell me how many world championship fights these guys have been involved in. I'll do you a favor, add all of them up together and it doesn't even equal HALF the number of Lomachenko.
Also since you're so hurt by Lomachenko feel free to make a list of guys at 126-135 that Lomachenmo has avoided who wasn't already mentioned.
Because you know, none of those guys have a resume even CLOSE to Lomachenkos.
If Lomachenko has a ****ty resume please feel free to make a BIG LIST of guys.
Lmfao. Lets see who is full of smoke.Comment

If the 'Franchise' champion is not forced to fight the 'Interim' or any contender for that matter, then how do you consider that clown Lomachenko a real WBC 'Champion'?
Bumchenko was under normal circumstances to defend the WBC lightweight title against the 'Interim Champ', however, due to dishonest bias politics on the part of team Lomachenko, Toprank and the WBC, Lomachenko used the 'Franchise' status to vacate the WBC lightweight title, instead of facing Devin Haney.
The hypocrisy in Lomachenko threads, is laughable. You have no right criticizing Teofimo, if you support Lomachenko ducking Devin Haney.
Vasily Lomachenko vacated the real belt with legitimate lineage, ironically the WBC debased its prestigious lightweight crown to honor this overrated clown and grant Vasily unwarranted and unprecedented privilege.
The WBC 'Franchise' title is a hollow construction devised to protect the interest of said organisation and its affiliates, it does not represent a genuine claim or ownership to the 135 division.

The Franchise Champion is a special designation and status which the WBC may bestow to a current WBC world champion, who is also an elite boxer, and who has achieved and maintains the highest of statures in the sport,” the WBC said in a statement.
Loma vs Lopez will be for the WBC/IBF/WBA/WBO Lightweight titles.
The WBC are essentially receiving payment for 2 of the same titles and they literally don't deny it. Don't blame Loma or Canelo, this is on the WBC.Last edited by RL_GMA; 08-12-2020, 09:20 AM.Comment
