ESPN wants big fights, then they should pay more for the fight, or make it a PPV on ESPN+. Who made the decision for this fight to be on regular ESPN? Crawford vs. Khan was a PPV, why not Loma vs. Lopez? If the pandemic is the problem, then maybe the fight has to wait?
Excellent and fair points. It sounds like everything depends on ESPN then and yes, if Crawford vs Khan was PPV worthy then Loma vs Lopez should be as well. As for the pandemic, who knows at this point so hopefully they can come to some sort of agreement because 1.2 mill is still better than $0 for not fighting at all.

        oh lord.

an extra mil to Arum is absolutely nothing, 10-20. but only if he spends it on himself. why in the world he should give HIS $ to someone else?

people that cant make any $, sure tell others how to spend theirs. hilarious

Bumchenko was under normal circumstances to defend the WBC lightweight title against the 'Interim Champ', however, due to dishonest bias politics on the part of team Lomachenko, Toprank and the WBC, Lomachenko used the 'Franchise' status to vacate the WBC lightweight title, instead of facing Devin Haney.

The hypocrisy in Lomachenko threads, is laughable. You have no right criticizing Teofimo, if you support Lomachenko ducking Devin Haney.

Vasily Lomachenko vacated the real belt with legitimate lineage, ironically the WBC debased its prestigious lightweight crown to honor this overrated clown and grant Vasily unwarranted and unprecedented privilege.

The WBC 'Franchise' title is a hollow construction devised to protect the interest of said organisation and its affiliates, it does not represent a genuine claim or ownership to the 135 division.
            yeah man.

The WBC did this just for Lomachenko when in reality they did this just for Canelo.

Cuz you know, Canelo was given it first.

And they totally are afraid of Devin Haney who has never fought a championship bout and a guy whos next opponent is Gamboa.

Lomachenko is overrated you say? With his resume and pedigree?

Compare his resume to Devin Haney and Teofimo Lopez.

You seem to think they're better. Care to explain why? Their resumes aren't better. They don't have the same amatuer pedigree and they aren't even fighting the same kind of opponents.

Is it because they're American and you're team America? You like making all of us Americans look like **** with your low IQ talk?

If you really think Lomachenko doesn't have a claim who beat Lomachenko?

Id love to see Devin Haney take on Lomachenko just so I could laugh at you every day but guess what? The only guy whos gonna duck Lomachenko is Devin Haney.

Look at your boy Fat tank davis. Dude wants Loma but is back at 130 fighting LSC after not looking good at 135 against Gamboa.

Tell your boy tank to step up. Every lomachenko fan wants these fights. But you guys always have excuses

Watch Tank price himself out after his PPV fails. Watch Devin Haney be unable to make 135 once the guys at 140 move up to 147 and somehow claim that Lomachenko waited him out.

            Too ****ing funny.

Why do people like you always like ****ing cowards? You and BoxingIsGreat must be good friends.

hmmm, maybe because it's in the best interest of his promotional company to make a young fighter like Lopez a superstar and this is a chance to do that. I'm not asking him to give me the money, I'm suggesting that as a promotor, to make a top 5 fight that can be made in boxing between 2 of his fighters. It'd be nothing but upside for him.

giving lopez more money will not make him a superstar. what will make him one is if he beats loma and this is his chance...if he's confident enough.

listen...you aint in his shoes bubba. that old 102 mf knows what he is doing. im sure he will add another 150-200k to Lopez, but no more than that. but suggesting that he should just drop another mill, just because HE has $ is plain ******. Lopez far from a superstar too. let the old man do what he knows, and better than all of us gathered discussing here.
