After he fought Jacobs, there were articles showing how 85% of the subscribers that DAZN had at that point came from the weekend of his fight.

They were not worth the combined salary of his contract? Huh? Please due tell which opponents are worth his contract? Should he just fight GGG 10 times?

Now you are just talking out of your a$$. Read what I said again. I said DAZN would have signed Canelo to the same deal they did, WITH or WITHOUT the GGG fight. You can't say the same about the opposite. GGG wouldn't have received 100M if DAZN thought he would never fight Canelo.

Um yes, I'm basing it off articles that came after the Jacobs fights and the viewership numbers of his fights and then the total subscribers DAZN has right now according to Hauser.

Generating enough cash to cover his contract? Do you even know why DAZN invested in boxing in the first place? They wanted to get their brand out in the US before bidding for the other top sports league. Canelo gave them credibility. Considering he is the reason for the majority of the subscribers? His salary is more than covered.
I think its so funny how you keep bringing GGG into this conversation when its solely about Canelo and his worth.

    Thats pretty funny isnt it?

No one subscribes to DAZN and no one knows who Canelo is.

Man that truth hurts you so much doesnt it?

Canelo is signed to Golden Boy and Goldenboy negotiationed with DAZN on his contract. They told DAZN Canelo would fight GGG which is why they signed him to that contract.

Literally once he heard that he cried publicly about it and disputed with golden boy.

    You pretend this isn't real?

Boxing is probably the smallest sport in the world. Quit acting like its bigger than it is.

Yeah he has seen the comments, and now he has to react. He got a lot of credit for daring to face the best unlike clout chasers Tank davis. But then it looked like he himself was just clout chasing but in a different way.

So credit to him IF he goes ahead with the fight. He obviously should be paid well for this fight, and am not with Arum usually but the fight isn't on PPV for whatever reasons, and no live gates.

Kill the dragon and then you become the man and the world is your oyster, none of that "I need to feed my family" doe BS

The hell are you talking about? YOU responded to me when you got butthurt of the post I made involving GGG.

LOL what? When Canelo signed with DAZN, they did not have GGG. The whole problem started when GBP told DAZN that Canelo would fight GGG without actually talking to Canelo and then DAZN signed GGG. Canelo was going to get the same deal he got even if he told them from the outset that he was never going to fight GGG.

All this drama between Canelo/GBP is well documented. We have the timeline of when all this took place.

And why the hell would I be upset at you saying no one subscribes to DAZN? You are all over the place and keep bringing up irrelevant stuff. You asked questions, I answered them...Then you come up with an argument talking about how DAZN has no subscribers and how boxing is the smallest sport in the world. Okay then.............

You said GGG robbed DAZN and that it was the crime of the century.

I disagreed because Canelo holds that title.

Yet here you are still trying to say it isn't true and you have no evidence to back it.

You claim Canelo himself bring the suscribers in but have no proof if he actually brings in enough people to justify his 35 million a fight salary.

A salary he is holding DAZN to even as we speak lmfao!

Did Canelo do enough to justify his contract? Nope.

Does DAZN have a lot of subscribers and do people know Canelo?

The answer to both is no.

So how can a largely unknown platform that hosts a largely unknown boxer be successful?

            Come on.

Canelo make 40 million against GGG and everyone made money. Youre gonna tell me that Canelo vs Jacobs or Kovalev would have done near as much?

And that's when you know you're wrong.

Loma can realistically make fights with Berchelt, Herring, Frampton, Valdez, and Stevenson. If Lopez doesn't want the fight I'm sure Berchelt or Herring would gladly take it.

I'm not going to address the rest because you are all over the place.

BUT CANELO WAS SIGNED BEFORE DAZN SIGNED GGG. THE PART ABOUT GBP PROMISING A FIGHT BETWEEN CANELO AND GGG HAPPENED DURING THE GGG NEGOTIATIONS. WHAT ARE YOU NOT UNDERSTANDING????

For you to completely whiff on that point is all I need to know about your agenda here. Completely made up the timeline when IT IS ALL DOCUMENTED.

Its a title unification against a top 3 P4P fighter. Its worth more than $1.2
Bwahahahahaha!!!!!! So, lets play the race game then. Which opposing ethnic group has fighters that get away with negotiating fight money without scrutiny? Ethnicity aside, do you even know what the standard purse percentage for a title challenger is? Maybe educate yourself on that first and this would make more sense to you.

Next, Loma's ranking is irrelevant right now. There is a pandemic going on and the money is obviously way tighter. Teo doesn't want the fight unless he gets extraordinary money because most likely, he's getting a boxing lesson. Power is not valuable when you don't land it. Race/Ethnicity has nothing to do with anything I said. Only the mentally weak go there instantly when facing adversity.

Canelo Alvarez is unhappy with his promotional outfit and its semi-leader/figurehead, Oscar De La Hoya. That much you can read anywhere. But here are some reasons -- all of which I shared with Golden Boy (seeking its version of events) and none of which was rebutted:

"Canelo told Oscar during negotiations last year not to promise DAZN a third fight with Golovkin -- not because Canelo feared the fight but because he felt he won the second in straightforward fashion and he sincerely disliked the idea of helping out Golovkin financially (that antipathy is real)."

Okay. Its documented you say. Now its your turn to provide documentation.

                      Lmfao!
