    The significant changes Efe Ajagba has made to his promising career are official.

    Bob Arum's Top Rank Inc. announced Wednesday that it has signed Ajagba to a promotional deal. Ajagba also confirmed in the announcement that he has changed trainers, from Ronnie Shields to Kay Koroma, and has hired prominent manager James Prince to represent him.

      Interesting move. PBC's stable of potential opponents seemed ideal for his next 12-18 months of development. Hope Arum guides him right and not a Curtis Harper rematch

        Ajagba has plenty of options at TR. Wouldn't mind seeing him in with someone like Rivas at years end or something.

              That one caught me by surprise. I thought he was being built into PBCs next HW contender, but I'd missed that he'd signed with Prince. Guess Al and James still ain't on the closest of terms then? Never did quite get to the bottom of that rivalry or whatever it was, but it always seemed like it was a little more than just regular business.

                Good pickup by TR. Efe is probably the most interesting US HW prospect right now.

                And for Efe it gets him closer to a Fury fight when he's ready for it a few yrs from now.

                  He was never signed to Al/PBC, he just fought on PBC cards similar to Jeison Rosario
