Still a fan of Efe will still tune in and watch his fights but a lot was invested in him for sure. Ronnie was talking about Shelly getting him to America and setting all that stuff up for him I'm sure none of that was Free among other things he had to pay for while Efe started work on his boxing Career

By the way Efe wasn't really a "PBC FIGHTER" he was given Dates and was being Showcased thanks to Finkel and Richard Schaefer relationship with Haymon. So he was a Richard Schaefer fighter just like Tony Yoka and Joe Joyce WAS Schaefer Fighters signed to Ringstar. I'm not sure WTF is going on with Schaefer and his Ringstar Promotions and if he is even still doing it
I remember when people said Golden Boy would be nothing without Schaefer LMAO Golden Boy booted that snake out over half a decade ago. We now have a clear answer to who was more responsible for Golden Boy's success. Golden Boy still a top promoter and has built numerous champs and developed top prospects since he's been gone. While Schaefer's Promotion company that he launched in 2016 has been a dumpster fire. Fighters are jumping ship to J Prince or got their careers destroyed like Karlos Balderas. Ringstar is now like Roc Nation Promotions he doesn't put on any cards anymore but still has some fighters he lends to other promoter cards.

And for Efe it gets him closer to a Fury fight when he's ready for it a few yrs from now.
Fury won’t be fighting 3 years from now.

Schaefer for sure played a major role in building GBP that can't be denied BUT due to certain things in his Settlement with GBP he is "Allegedly" "Barred" from certain things due to that Agreement

GBP are not wrong at all, he shouldn't be allowed to just go join forces with Haymon and Mayweather that easy after the GBP situation. So again I'm assuming Schaefer restrictions due to that Settlement is making things extremely difficult for him as a Promoter

I think he has been making some small improvements but the glaring ones are still there - too upright, no head movement, not much boxing rhythm...and overall, I don't think the natural reflex is that great. That was the first thing I noticed when watching him, he doesn't react to incoming punches, he doesn't see or "feel" them coming and there's a lack of anticipation. Seeing him dropped hard like he was confirmed all that for me.

I saw a little bit more head movement last fight though, so I'm sure he's working on it. Maybe can't improve reflex all that much, but they can develop more motion in his head movement and an all around boxing rhythm. He's tall and stiff right now. His combination punching was/is coming along - maybe looks a little formulaic, but he was throwing with variety, effect and decent technique

I don't see him as a prospect, more of a "project" - but people root for those types, I like him too= he seem to have garnered some fans quickly so he's still someone to watch for
