Not good to see a fight with an unwilling fighter in it.
Might as well cancel it doe.
Loma wins this fight if it happens.
Probably worse than the Rigo fight.

      LOL.
It's really not that risky. He can lose and build his profile amongst fans as long as he makes a good showing of himself. Lomo is P4P #1 in some people's eyes so it's a win win even if he loses with dignity. The kid is a jackass for not taking the 1.2

They should just make Berchelt vs Loma. Valdez need to fight Stevenson or Herring anyway.

I need to hear from Teo before I fully believe this.

I don't want to believe he'd play himself like this.

Good for Arum. The bragger and the bragger's dad have the fight they wanted on the table for over a million and they want more. Arum did not get where he is by losing money. He is not going to lose money to make the bragging team happy. Lopez can be replaced by other good lightweights who are not so greedy and would be thrilled to get a shot at Loma for that much money. If Lopez won't take the fight he is just a big talker who won't back up his talk.

1.2 is good money...but after taxes and fees and camp....its not that much for a risky fight this early in his career...he can make that over the next 2 years fighting guys of way less pedigree and ability of loma.....and still be only 25 when its all done.....youve got to make it worth his while

he sees tank and lsc going to ppv....and loma is supposed to be a big star and a staple of the espn boxing program

basically bob is being cheap like he always is.....this is the same guy that lost floyd over 6 million in future guarantees over 2 fights...and said he wouldnt do the oscar/floyd fight because it wouldnt sell and hed lose money on it.....
Camp expenses are given separately. Any purse has taxes and a manger trainer fees etc. Not sure why you would even bring that up. ESPN is paying over 4.5 mil rights fee for just this fight. Not counting co feature etc.

If this was on fox it for sure would be ppv. The don’t spend more than 2-3 mil a card on regular fox. Just look at Saturday’s card

Thurman and Porter only made a million fighting each other with a live gate, but somehow this is being cheap.

Bob Arum: “Well, this guy for the last two years wants this fight, always asking me to make a fight with Vasyl Lomachenko. He finally gets a title, and he has the opportunity to make a unification bout. Everyone wants to see it. So I am trying to broker this fight for the past seven months, trying to work out a deal, trying to get ESPN to bring forth this money. They finally do, and what does he do? He’s offered 1.2 million dollars and, once again, this is on regular free ESPN. So what does he do? He tries to hijack the event, forcing it onto the Pay-Per-View platform, to get the minimum amount of eyeballs on it. And he wants more money.

"So basically I told him, ‘Look, we want this on regular ESPN to get millions of viewers.’ And he insisted, he and his dad both, that they want more money. So I said: ‘Well, it’s not going to happen. Either take the 1.2 million dollars or you are going to be forced to defend your bull**** title against your bull**** mandatory for three-hundred thousand.’ And what do they say? They pick three-hundred thousand to fight their bull**** mandatory, so I am done with this. I don’t know what to do about this.”

300k? sounds about right for Teofemale.

Remember what happened to Rigo after he beat Donaire...yeah expect the same treatment for Teofimo with Arum running around telling the world "Teofimo Is Afraid Of Loma". Arum also will not even bother to try and make bigger fights outside of Top Rank For him either so it is a very risky stand from Teofimo and his team.

Hopefully something gets worked out and the fight goes on
This is very true /\ Bobfather will expose Teo like a mf too.
