Bud's style is all wrong for Marquez. This would have been a very bad style match up for him. Too much distance, range and movement for JMM. He wouldn't have been able to catch Crawford.

I totally agree! Crawford just has too much of every advantage besides chin over Marquez.

Crawford beats him at any weight but most dominantly at 147, Marquez was never meant for welterweight, he just so happened to have an rival he was always good against no matter what the weight

Márquez is a career feather weight

He has no business above 135

I pick Crawford,a full sized welterweight to beat Marquez who was never more than a lightweight even if he did fight as a welterweight late in his career.

Bud would bludgeon him at 147.

A much better fight would be Bud (2012) at 135 vs. Marquez (2012).
