Ah the good old Motivated Broner argument... that guy is truly unbeatable
Surprised to hear this in 2020. I thought the reasonable consensus had been made... that the talent wasn’t as great as made out, and his career perfectly displays his level
Your talent is only as good as the hard work you put in towards your craft..There is no question AB has the talent to complete with anyone..Yet he does not have the work ethic or discipline to beat top fighters in the sport(some that are less talented)..
I'm not saying he's gonna put it together esp now..Yet I stand by what I said..If he put the work in and had the discipline he could've been special..He is tougher then he looked and had talent..Yet had horrible footwork and definitely did not let his hands go like he should have..
I can think of fighters who are super talented and work on their craft to become great, and talented fighters who did not..Khan Vargas Katsidis Reid etc etc, where all talented fighters that should have been better..Yet their work ethic was not great..
Mayweather Manny Ward Bradley B hop etc etc are guys who have talent ,but their work ethic was through the roof..So they went on to become greats..
Adrien doesn't dedicate himself to the sport of boxing like other fighters. He's too busy trying to be cool and flashy only to look average winning and taking L's in his step up fights. Everyone else is improving and he's just a champion in sparring sessions at this point in his career lol

the only ones still making this argument are the rare die hard broner fans still around. most of them have jumped ship but the rest refused to believe they were duped by the broner hype. its a way to excuse his very disappointing career.
