I expected Mayweather to give Canelo a lesson in boxing...

I expected Pacman to beat a crusty DLH

One was on the upturn trajectory, one was on his last legs...

DLH is/was a great name to have on your résumé but by 35 he was dead.. he lost 6 fights and 5 of them were in his last 7 fights.. that tells a story in itself....

Neither Canelo nor Oscar could make the weight required and still fight effectively. Oscar set that straw that broke the camels back weight limit for himself. Canelo had it imposed on him.

        • De La Hoya: 35 years old, last meaningful fights being at 154 and 160, coming down to 145, a weight class he hadn't fought at for over 7 years
        • Canelo: 23 years old, last meaningful fights being at 153.5 and 154, coming down to 152, the weight class he had been fighting at for 3 years

Can't put it simpler for you. If you still don't get it you never will.
He was killing himself to make the 154lbs limit and that 2lbs make him weak and the embarassing part is both of them are champion at 154lbs but the other guy force canelo to have a unification bout at 152lbs limit.

Youre such a fanboy you really have no idea of boxing.

          Lol.

Pac was a 4-1 underdog against hoya and win tko8

Floyd was a 2-1 favorite and win MD.

          Pac win was better. Simple.

Rinse and repeat vs BALCO Shane.

Manny taking the Oscar fight JoyBoy ducked > than anyone JoyBoy ever fought. He RETIRED Oscar!
Lol. You are correct. The funny part was dela hoya plan was to go down to 147 lbs to rematch floyd but floyd ducked the fight and that's where hoya called out a lightweight pac.

Pac s win over dlh must be better because it was a common opponent and Pac did the business more dominant like Pac did all common opponents.

Floyd fans can only fantasize Pac couldn't beat nel o like Floyd did. But then Pac would beat nel o more dominant, evidence suggests that, with Floyd fans citing Floyd beat him first and nel o was never same again?

Floyd fans are so predictable. When alexander and khan beat maidana so easy while floyd went life and death they say because maidana improve extraordinarily but when floyd fought a shot opponent that opponent become prime.

True, Floyd makes all common opponents look better. Whether it's common opponent with pac, Khan or alexander.
And I doubt it's because they're rejuvenated when Floyd faces them, only in Floyd fans minds, not impartial minds

Yap that's the pattern i see when floyd fans compare common opponents of floyd.
