People keep saying if you stood up to Tyson you could beat him but he has faced people who stood up to him and weren’t afraid and it didn’t matter!

It was only until he lost focus and didn’t have the man who could guide him and rein him in was when he lost his head and his step!
Foreman crushes any version of Tyson.

prime Foreman and fat Foreman both KO Tyson.

when Foreman made his comeback he wanted to fight Mike (around 1989) and he even fought on a Tyson undercard.

Don King wanted no parts of it. they ducked an old past prime Foreman while Mike was prime.

even Cus D amato would advise Mike to stay away from big George

HW toney I think wins a UD.

While Tyson could box when he wanted to, Toney is one of the more slick, high ring IQ fighters in modern history. Similar to cats like ODLH, he only fell off due to out of the ring irresponsibility, not lack of talent, heart, etc.

Not many fighters do I favor over him.

Now, where is IronDanHamza to argue otherwise
What are you saying here? That a HW James Toney could beat a 1988 Mike Tyson? Or the 2003 Mike Tyson?

You say James Toney “fell off” because of out of the ring irresponsibility, convenient excuse, at which part of his career was he “responsible” to compare your data?

I think he slips and rolls almost everything Tyson throws at him and eats him alive with traps. It would be a good fight but is Mike mentally tough enough to make adjustments once he doesn't put Toney to sleep in 3 or 4 rounds? For as explosive and offensively complete as Tyson is, Toney was a real slippery boxer when he moved up and put on weight.

Maybe my memory fails me here, but the Toney that fought RJJ, he was more responsible then and more dedicated to training. Disagree?

....So what are you trying to say here? That Mike Tyson from 1988 loses to a 2003 James Tone?

Your memory has totally failed you if that’s what you’re going off because James Toney’s excuse for why he was made to look like he’d never seen a pair of Boxing Gloves in his life when he fought Roy Jones was blamed solely on “not being dedicated”.

To such an extent it’s become almost folk law at how ridiculous that excuse is.

So I’ll ask you again, when you say he “fell off”, which part of his career are you comparing this to to have this data?

Because every single weight class he fought in he struggled, so, when was this?

Prime Mike and Prime Toney would never exist at the same time in the same div.

                  - -First off, Mike was no longer prime when King and Givens got their hooks in him. He was dangerously bipolar on experimental psychotropic sedatives noted for dangerous side effects.

Secondly they'd agreed to a $25 mil fight sponsored by the Chinese in 1990 in China. Google China 1990 as why the fight fell by the wayside.

Later on there were other offers by King, but Tyson never took the bait. At that point Tyson was minting his own purses no matter who he fought.

Lmao thanks for the laughs bud, Foreman would be way too slow for Mike!

Mike would be cracking Big George’s ribs like A family barbecue!

Ali doesn’t hit nowhere near as hard as a Prime Iron Mike Tyson with Cus D’Amato and you don’t think Mike can’t put down Foreman as well?

This is a fight on who gets who with a big shot first and who could take the big shot better!

I’m going with the man with the talent and ability of an Upper echelon ATG!
