Plus, as mentioned above, Povetkin is ranked 5th by boxrec. Whyte can’t get a fight with the top 3 and he would get trashed if he was fighting Usyk as well. So who would you prefer to see him fight?

It’s hardly Whyte’s fault if there isn’t better competition out there available for him to fight.
Lol...Revisionist? GTFOH first show me where I said AJ would lose to Povetkin. Then show me the betting odds favoring Povetkin. Then show me where Wilder said it. Links please you ****ing liar.

Why because the UK guy said it’s so? Don’t just claim it let’s see all the fights to validate it. That makes much better entertainment than the shameless bias on your pitiful conjecture.

Who else is A level? Wilder? Kownacki?

Is Povetkin any worse than Ortiz?

Povetkin would smash Ortiz. Ortiz is unproven bum, while Povetkin is experienced world class fighter.

I wouldn't call Ortiz a bum, but it's funny how the same people dumping on Povetkin are bigging up Ortiz who's just as old and half as accomplished.

              Baffling.

In boxing, Povetkin is a senior ****ing citizen.

he's no risk, he's just a name. That's why they made the fight.

Right now top is Fury and his reign is under heavy scrutiny. He could be the biggest most dangerous cheat in the history of the sport. He will have to at least duplicate fight success under intense scrutiny to be solid.

Wilder loss one fight under very su****ious conditions. He was number one, and fought number two why is not elite again? How did AJ move past him fighting the Number 7 who had just beat the brakes off of him?

AJ still took the worst loss of the three from Andy Ruiz ranked number seven. Although he did outrun and Jab Ruiz in two, what makes a last man standing again?

Not sure Whyte or AJ is better than Ruiz if training hard. Ruiz only has two losses and destroyed your “A,” Guy in Joshua why is he out due to a 1 to 1 series?

Ortiz has been boxed out by Matchroom he probably beats the brakes of Whyte and would be a great match up for AJ and Fury. Styles make fights right?

We have young up and comers like Joe Joyce and Daniel Dubois facing off. That winner will be in the mix.

Who knows how Usyk has benefited during the break? He may have filled out enough to be a serious Heavyweight. Let’s see him in with the best.

But just because the UK wants Fury verses Joshua does not mean they are the only Heavyweights that matter.

Run that bias, you see what it’s doing for Dazn and Matchroom putting them out of business. Hearn couldn’t sell popcorn in a theater because he is to busy playing hater defense to understand the offense.

Let’s see all the fights. Nothing he can do, Wilder vs Fury 3 will still happen. And Joshua vs Fury can’t help the failing DAZN until after it’s over and done.

I agree with the poster you are responding to but unlike him I'm not from the uk so you cannot say I'm biased towards uk fighters. for starters we know wilder is not on the same level as fury. he's 0 for 2 against him. we never got to see wilder fight aj because wilder refused to fight him. so that just leaves fury and aj alone at the top. these two are A level in the current heavyweight scene.
