This is the number 5th and 6th ranked heavyweights (according to box rec). Boxing fans should at least be interested; we might well see Whyte get KTFO.

If you’re not interested in this fight there’s a good chance that you’re a casual/fanboy.

This is a fight between two top 10 guys in division. Actually, they are ranked N. 2 and 6 . by The Ring. I don`t see what is here to complain about.

Expect Whyte to look like the incredible hulk when he steps on the scales.

There's a reason why he's been hiding in Portugal.

The is a (Mis)Matchroom staple: pick flawed opponents, pretend they’re a threat, log a win and brag about them being in the top 10. Smh

Afterall all top 10 opponents are killers right smh

Just checked all the cross belt rankings and Povekkin is top 10 in boxrec, ring etc etc if he's top 10 he's top 10 what you on about which cross belt ranking isn't he top 10 in ??

He's fighting a top 10 guy when he doesn't have to that's impressive wish everyone else would do that.

Yes, and with povetkins own PED history, in conjunction with hearn's duplicitous approach drugs, it would be ibter sting to learn exactly what random testing has been done.

He can keep posturing like whyte has fans. It’s not working. Only difference here is - no fans means Eddie doesn’t have to paper the room with free tickets create the TV illusion that Whyte is popular

It's a damn shame and an indictment on the state of affairs of the heavyweight division that a washed up 40 year old former champion is now the no. 6 ranked heavyweight in the world. It's actually pitiful!

What is so strange. Povetkin is a damn good fighter. He only lost to Klitschko and Joshua. Still boxed to draw with much younger Hunter, another top 10 guy.

I would pick Povetkin to beat Pulev, Ortiz. I think he beats Whyte too.

Wow! I wish I shared your confidence. So, in the event if Dillian Whyte was to lose to Povetkin would he still be the WBC's mandatory challenger for its title?
