A Spanish youtube channel spoke to his dad about this and he said no but that his family is from New Mexico and they were there when the land was still mexico and his family stopped speaking Spanish generations ago and that's why his family doesn't know it

No I am not from the US lol. I am a moroccan born and raised in Norway. Nobody would attack me if I called Badr Hari moroccan even though he was born and raised in Amsterdam, Netherlands. I think people themselves should define their nationality. Andy Ruiz was called the first "mexican" heavyweight champ when born and raised in Cali.
