I don’t even think TR has any options on him.. they only had a rematch clause in the event Orozco beat Ramirez which he obviously did not. Orozco last fight was getting KO’d by Verg Ortiz.. Orozco is clearly a much better test then Soloman who is shot

C’mon, that video is from 2016. Orozco profile is currently on Top Rank website:Originally posted by GBP4LIFE View Post

This is absolutely pathetic LOL.. Orozco was NEVER a TOP RANK signed fighter LOL. He has always been under contract to GBP.. he only entered Top Rank website for a ONE TIME contest in which he fought Jose Ramirez and lost.. he has since fought back on GOLDEN BOY cards SMH..Originally posted by Eastlos View PostC’mon, that video is from 2016. Haney is allowed to make a voluntary. It could have been either one of those duckers.
They rather wait til he leaves 135Last edited by bluebeam; 07-29-2020, 08:17 AM.

Haney has plenty of skills and talent, but brings nothing else to the table business-wise. If whoever wins the eliminator chooses not to fight him, then you can put the "duck" label on him if you want. Boxing is a business first. Can't accuse everybody of ducking just bc they ain't fight your favorite fighter. The money gotta be right.Originally posted by bluebeam View PostBoth already had the chance to fight him without an eliminator in case you didnt know.

Thats true when you're talking about money fighters.Originally posted by Griever0730 View PostHaney has plenty of skills and talent, but brings nothing else to the table business-wise. Campbell amd Fortuna aren't that. It makes way more sense to fight haney for the title, instead of fighting a eliminator which you could lose and never get a title shot.
The belt brings extra money.
And haney aint my favorite fighter. But he is the only fighter at 135 without an excuse when you ask him about anybody at 135. His answer is always yes.

Campbell and Fortuna were supposed to go at it for the WBC spot. Fortuna decided to take his shot at Linares for the WBC Diamond eliminator(?) probably feeling he has a better chance against him than he did with Campbell bc of his fragility. Next in line behind Campbell is Garcia for the main WBC eliminator. Since they gotta fight anyway, they can avoid the purse bid, run a contract and make more money bc of Garcia's drawing power. All those said names put themselves in the best situation for themselves, and Haney is just not a part of all that at the moment. Regardless, they're all fighting for the WBC spot, so when the dust clears, Haney should have his most notable opponent to date ready for him and show that he is worthy of the belt that was handed to him.Originally posted by bluebeam View PostThats true when you're talking about money fighters.
