DAZN is ruining Canelo’s legacy and brand!

but that also applies to everyone else... do you really think Golovkin fighting Rolls and Sacramento is worth $100m to DAZN?

* the amount they paid Canelo was unheard of, and WAY above the industry standard

* there have been recent comments by DAZN officials which confirm that they have money problems and cannot afford to continue shelling out big contracts

Cashnelo is slightly different... DAZN wanted the top fighter in the world to headline their platform, and they were willing to pay whatever it took to get him... Canelo is more of a statement/status-symbol purchase

I don't think anybody else would have offered Canelo anywhere near that much money... DAZN appearing on the scene was great timing for Canelo and great negotiation by Hoya

Canelo WOULD get that type of deal though by every network. His average is pretty much on par with what Floyd got with SHO six years prior.

Back to GGG, can't hate how he and his team negotiated. They used PBC/TR as leverage and got a monster deal from DAZN. This is a guy who is now doing barely over a million gate and the viewers don't come close to Canelo.

Paying Andrade multiple million a fight and Farmer seven figures is horrendous.

Paying Mikey like 7-8 million against Vargas is terrible.

You get the point. DAZN used boxing to get in stateside but quickly realized this is just a niche sport and very few truly draw. Canelo though? He IS DAZN at this point.

This across the board. The one cat for sure earning his keep on DAZN is fooking Canelo. Any failure is DAZN's & the rest of the roster (minus AJ probably). They need to take some money from Andrade & give it to Canelo too if anything.

This is embarrassing, DAZN can’t seem to approve the match ups for Canelo but approve a bunch of worthless fights which is a huge double standard which will ruin them!

From delaying his fight for a UFC fight between 2 journeymen and to making him take paycuts even though his money is guaranteed and can’t seem to approve an opponent for him!

Now nobody is looking forward to who Canelo is fighting and only care about The Showtime fights, Fury vs AJ and Mikey an Roy!

Canelo need to ditch them when his contract is up and make a deal with a cable provider and bring him an his fighters on there!
