I dunno man, he faced a lot of adversity in the Linares fight. Got put down and the shoulder injury but still found the stoppage.

I don’t buy into the Salido loss too much tbh, how many fighters in history would beat Salido in their second pro fight? It would be a very short list IMO.

I thought this also. Morales’ peak was definitely between 122-126.

I think anyone who brings up that Salido loss as some kind of argument against Loma's ability should answer the question:

Which other fighter in history would have done as well in their second pro fight?

Anyway, I have a huge amount of respect for Morales. Who would win? I have no idea. I'd like to wait until Loma's career is over before trying to compare him to past greats.

Morales was a great but Lol Raheem schooled Morales easily, I see Loma taking Morales through the matrix without a problem

Morales wasn't even a pressure fighter, fought way different then Salido

It’s a 50/50 fight for me, I picked Loma by a competitive decision largely due to me believing he is the more technically skilled and accurate fighter. I just think he’d win enough early rounds to edge the decision.

                    - -I predict U lose the family farm.

El terrible as tough as they come, but as Dum a boxer as they come. Humiliated like he was in the Manny rematches.

The problem with Lomachenko and Salido isn't just the experience. Lomachenko tends to retreat when pressured enough without returning fire. Salido exposed it, and Gary Russel Jr had success doing it too. Russell didn't land too much, but when he's triple his jab coming forward, Lomachenko would rush backwards straight into the ropes.

Morales is a master at pursing his opponent when they're on the retreat. Then he wouldn't be dissuaded by Lomachenko's power/speed.
