Fair enough but like another poster on here said, would definitely like to see him fight other opponents with different styles to see how he adapts before we can be absolutely certain he is the real deal and a complete fighter that is capable of handling himself well with the likes of other welters like Garcia, Ugas, Spence, Crawford and so onComment

Come on dude, lets not cloud out the fact that Orozco was already damaged goods after the war with Ramirez and Herrera is ancient. I'm not taking any credit from Ortiz as being touted as the face of boxing by Golden Boy but there's more to the game and Ortiz understands his place which is what I like about him.Comment

Absolutely! Since I watched Ennis on ShoBox Generations, that was the first thing that crossed my mind, his style would mesh perfectly with Ortiz and would be a 50/50 fight. They should make that a title eliminatorComment

Orozco went 12 rounds with the unified 140 lbs champ in Ramirez how does that make him damage goods? C’mon, if anything it goes to show how good Vergil is that he sparked him out in 6 rds. Yes, Herrera is ancient but also a very crafty veteran who had never been stop before fighting Vergil. Again, no comparison to the cab drivers Berlanga has KO’d during his streakComment

Orozco fought Ramirez at junior welter and Ortiz at welterweight. His power did not transfer well to 147 and was a clear indicator when he fought Jose Rodriguez. I agree that Herrera is a crafty veteran but of course he was stopped given his age while Ortiz has youth. If Ortiz had fought the Herrera that fought Garcia the outcome would have been differentComment
