Let's get it! Get past Vargas and then get a top 10 WW next. It may not be possible someone like the winner of Dulorme vs James would be good or someone like Jessie Vargas.

Unfortunately, you don’t see how special Vergil really is there’s a reason why Mikey and Jose Ramirez praise him in interviews and ask to spar Vergil when they have fight coming up the kid makes them better.
Don't get me wrong. There's something definitely special about the kid but to call him as the face of boxing is TBD. As I mentioned earlier to another poster, would like to see Ortiz face more opponents with different styles to see how he adapts.

After Danny loses to Spence he will be the perfect gatekeeper for this kid. Unfortunately he will ask for a king's ransom from Golden Boy.

Orozco, Herrera, Solomon - I like those wins so far

Obviously, Hererra was a shell of himself and Solomon never really got traction in his career but both of them have tricky styles. The way Ortiz got rid of them made those decent wins to me....even when acknowledging the fact that those two guys although tricky, aren't really that "live" anymore. Not sure it would have mattered vs any version of those two so that is why I like those wins in this case.

Should add that Solomon came right back and fought another Golden Boy prospect a couple months later and caused some issues for the prospect.

I'm putting quite a bit of weight on how he handled those two styles...and how he picked apart Orozco. But yeah, let's see him against someone faster

Ennis Ortiz would be such a sick matchup, they could run it back down the line too. No doubt one or both will be future champion
