If someone like DAZN set up a rival series and offered the top guys 2-3 times they money that the UFC is paying them with no crippling clauses, you watch how they start feigning injury and defecting.

It'd still be on a streaming service that nobody wants. Did you see the DAZN numbers even for AJ/Ruiz 2? they were hyping it up as a major success when it drew 1.8m viewers across its 9 markets that have a combined population of nearly a billion people. Their service is just not catching on and looks to have a very shaky future. They already have the rights to Bellator as well, and it doesnt seem to have benefitted either party.
