Yes, but they get paid peanuts compared to what boxers make. Dana White and his Cartel take a ****** amount off the boxers. The Masvidal card did 1.5 million PPV buys but I wonder how much Kamaru and Masvidal made apiece? Over one million PPV buys in boxing sees both boxers (and the undercard) compensated well. In the UFC that simply does not happen.

The Ali Act will see to it that promoters can't have a dual role as manager/matchmaker/official so the boxers still have some degree of protection.

My ONLY concern is that ALL boxers (even if I do not support or like them personally) get out of the sport healthy, with enough money earned and not to be rinsed by promoters and managers.

If Hearn wants to take over boxing, he should make a grab at the UFC while he is at it. Dangle that carrot in front of the leading stars, make enough cross-over matches where it will be completely worth it. DAZN could sink UFC if they really tried hard enough.

What's gonna end up having to happen (it never will)

IS that Hayman, Arum, & Hearn are going to have to get together and form their own league where they can all benefit and have control over boxing.

Like I said, it never would happen, but that would be the only way it would happen.

The boxers themselves too might have to form some sort of union (which also will never happen) to protect themselves and demand fairness in the sport.

          It will destroy the sport.

Boxing has never been run that way.

There is nothing stopping Eddie Hearn from creating his own organisation 'Where he controls afew hundred fighters like Dana White does etc' but to control the entire world of active boxers? Never.

Boxing is the last blue collar sport, that will end once it is trimmed down 'And marginalized in my area's'.

Boxing will NEVER be run like a club sport like the UFC.
Hopefully Hearn just takes himself out of the sport, or do his promotions in the UK, promoting their local fighters.

Matchroom Boxing's Eddie Hearn has his critics but you can't question his ambition.

With several governing bodies and multiple belts in each division, Hearn told IFL TV that his aim is to completely takeover the sport.

"The drive for me now is to control boxing. To control the sport globally and have a single entity running boxing like the UFC," he said.

"If you want bet against me, you will see. I am the man for the job, I'm the only one that can do it."
Would be good to see that happen to boxing, but realistically I don't ever see boxing ever getting to that point. Would do a lot of great for popularising the sport further and it would reduce the amount of **** fights we see champions take.

I'll say this, boxing doesn't necessarily need to become like the UFC what it needs is ONE belt, that's it... You're either the champion or you're not. This would remove the idea of people thinking, well I'll just fight for this title because this other guy looks too difficult to beat. It would actually have people properly clambering for a title shot... I also doubt this would happen as well, but more realistic than boxing becoming like the UFC.

The best part is, more often than not the fighters fight at their level. If you need touch me up fights in the pro-ranks then in my opinion, you shouldn't have turned pro. I'm sick of seeing 5-0 guys fighting the guys who have no hope in hell, yes there will be times when an upset happens but most of the time its just the same old predictable outcome.
