He's not depressed. Depressed people don't exercise all the time, socialise constantly and eat well as a matter of habit. Basically they don't take care of themselves like that. The main symptom of real and not self diagnosed "depression" is total amotivation to do anything good or productive with your life and just laying around mopey and tired. That's why that's considered a disorder, because it messes up how you live your life normally and healthily. Being a lil down because you're not feeling the best at the time isn't it. He's lying for attention. He may have had it previously but not at all currently although I can believe he gets anxious having to keep up such a bravado on social media all the time. That's my assessment.

Mike had real problems and his journey off the rails was very well known about. Ryan has done none of this and is always around people enjoying himself. Generally takes care of himself and lives well. That's not even close to the kind of thing a depressed person is like. I've been there, and all I ever did was lay around in a dark room day after day doing drugs or just sleeping to get through each day. Sometimes after enough time you accrue enough nasty thoughts to make yourself crack and try to kill yourself out of desperation to escape the hell in your mind. Instead of being optimistic you tend to be pessimistic or ambivalent about things. Mostly ambivalent. It's hard to give a **** about anything when you're depressed. Ryan is a liar if he thinks he can genuinely tell us he's depressed right now.
