"In June, Crawford promoter Bob Arum outlined five welterweights Crawford could potentially clash with by November. They include Pacquiao, Shawn Porter, Kell Brook, Keith Thurman and Yordenis Ugas."

Porter could give Bud a nice fight, Thurman could give him a coupla nice rounds, and Grandpa Manny could give him a nice paycheck.

But we know how this racket works.

      He'll fight Ugas.

Did we ever find out how much? They could knock $500 off his total and it would count as a pay cut.

Negotiate is one thing, delivering is another.

What happens if DAZN goes bust - where is his 365 million then?

It should no longer be classified as a pandemic. 0.24% fatality rate and that number keeps dropping and dropping because millions more are being tested. So ya it’s not a pandemic.

Mortality rate is nothing to do with being a pandemic.

Being a pandemic is about how widely an infectious disease spreads. Given this has spread around the world with vast numbers of infections in every major country, I think it's classification as a pandemic is safe.

Crawford can stick to the letter of this contract, but he is going to end up with a long hiatus and risks going from never-really-was at WW to has-been at WW.

He turns 33 in a couple of months and if he sticks to his guns, he might be closer to 34 by the time he returns to the ring.

Well, if Bud is going to hold out for full pay, then the result will be inactivity - which a man of his age can't afford.

Better to get paid less, than not paid at all.

Well, it's certainly a pandemic given the fact that it spread across the world and is now endemic in the populations of most countries; however, you're entirely right about it never being as dangerous a pandemic as it has been advertised. Note even close. The internet, social media and the 24-hr news cycle are powerful things.

Bud is the better talent? How would we rate his talent at the top game if he’s beaten nothing but c level fighters? Any good fighter can look “great” fighting bums. Danny garcia has fought ****ers, lucas matthysse , keith Thurman and has never been dropped, crawford got dropped by a nobody in his last fight . To say crawford is the better talent is very subjective
