5 million minus 40% taxes is about 2.something million, minus 10% for the trainer....in which crawford has like 4 trainers so its minus another 40% .Terrence Crawford is barely taking a little over a million Dollars home

Danny garcia has fought ****ers, lucas matthysse , keith Thurman and has never been dropped, crawford got dropped by a nobody in his last fight . To say crawford is the better talent is very subjective
I agree, which is why my post was stating that Danny should be making more money than Crawford as he has fought they way better opposition.

He's right for not taking a paycut. What else does Bob have? It's slim after Loma and Teo Lopez.

If it's in writing that he gets X amount, then f uck taking a paycut.

I ain’t even mad at him from having that stance but he could have taken a fight for less money just to stay active but he’s focused on what he feels is important. Won’t be surprised to see guys like him not fight for the rest of 2020 tbh. So in ways, Bud don’t even exist to me. It’s July and the chances are high that I won’t see this guy do anything until next year.

Who's fault is it to have so many trainers?

And why does a #1 P4P need more than one trainer?

Hell, Uncle Roger might have been Floyd's trainer, but all he needed to say was "keep doin whachu doin" and "give'em sommore of that hook. That's for the road."

Covid wasn’t in ur contract either Bud. Suck it up and stay relevant in the fight game by fighting or else no one will care about you. It doesn’t matter how undefeated you are, if you don’t fight the big names, you don’t get the big bucks. Also a pay cut is better than no money at all so I don’t know why Bud is going for the latter

Are the UFC, NBA, MLB or NFL making pay cuts?

However, if Crawford is free to choose whether to fight who's on offer for what's on offer then it's his call whether to twist or stick.
Looking at his purses for some of those fights, if he means what he says, it might be quite some time before we see Crawford in the ring again.
If they all take hes attitude, and I think alot of them will, it'll be a long time until we get any big fights again. Certainly not in 2020 anyway.

Co-sign. I wouldn't, either, especially if my contract states so.
