I guess legacy means something else.
Not even close. Floyd cherry-picked his way to the top, Manny took on tougher challenges.

Legacy is the biggest feat in professional sports..money comes and goes but legacy is forever.. Floyd has more money but when he dies he won't be remembered highly as Manny.Floyd would've beat Manny 5 yrs before, I always was saying this to the Pac fans. If they would've fought 5 yrs before yes they would've made less money.Al Haymon has been the architect of Floyds monetary success. Good for Floyd bad for Boxing ..oh well we move on

To say Manny fought everybody is hyperbole. Or did he fight Paul Williams and Zab Judah and I miss it? I also don't recall Manny not fighting people on his terms once he reached a certain level.

His point about being a multiple division champ makes sense. He speaks as if Floyd is not a multiple division champion. I think he is trying to say winning titles in 8 divisions is more impressive than winning in 5 divisions. Just say that.

When I see these comments, the people talk as if Floyd never defeated any HOF level fighters or that he wasn't an immensely talented fighter. They seem to suggest Floyd was just average and made money because of some gimmick, like a Butterbean.

Floyd spent many years as the consensus #1 or #2 P4P fighter in the world. His resume is such that he is ranked ahead of Manny in every credible poll of ATG fighters where experts are polled.
McGirt is just salty because of what Floyd did to his fighters over the years. He worked corners for at least two Floyd opponents (including Gatti). I'm trying to remember who else he was "stopping it baby" thanks to Floyd.

Floyd s legacy is trying to keep unbeaten record at any cost, be it home advantage, cws, fighting kickboxers, not Rematching as he's scared opponent learnt more from first fight than he did, and not fighting as underdog not wanting to prove he's better than we thought he was. Not fighting undefeated young lions or toughest available.
He will be remembered for not being champion as long as pac was

I could waste my time naming them but you're already dug-in on your position. He either fought big names on their way out or on their way up, or when they just weren't at their best. His defensive style allowed him to settle for decision wins, instead of actually beating an elite level opponent.

That energy could have been spent on naming names.

Not a single Pac fan/May hater is willing to name names.

Mayweather’s legacy will always be better, the Canelo win is miles better than anything PAC has done since he beat Barrera!

Only way Pacquiao surpasses Floyd is if he goes onto beat Spence or Crawford or beat Golovkin at 160!

I sense pretty much most of the boxing world, is envious of Floyd Mayweather 'Mayweather has a better legacy than Pacquiao'. At his peak Pacquiao whether he won or lost was continuedly being ****** about etc
