He was soundly beaten and would have been the same regardless of weight or fack all other excuses.
He got beaten by one of the greatest fighters of the modern era And in that, there is no shame.

So, haters will never give Pacquiao any credit. when he beat 35 old de la Hoya, DLH is "old". When he beats 31 old Thurman, Thurman is "out of shape and inactive".

Define soundly, Thurman won on one of the judges cards and lost by 2 rounds on the other judges cards, with the knock down being the extra point. What Ruiz did to AJ was soundly, what Mayweather did to Canelo was soundly, Pac defeated Thurman in a close competitive fight that some ring side had Thurman winning.

Come on now, it's time to get off that bullschit. People were impressed with the win, but Pac received little credit because De La Hoya was coming off a loss to Floyd, a gift decision in one of the worst fights of his career against fuhking Steve Forbes, and DLH hadn't fought at Welterweight in over 7 years, and which he had problems making weight in his last Welterweight fight against Arturo Ghatti. And after that, Pac forces a catch weight on Cotto saying Welterweight was to big for him, even though he just fought DLH at Welterweight. Even still, Pac got credit for that win. So please cut that bullschit out, the guy is considered the second best fighter of the generation, get over it.

The crippling body shot on the 10th round sealed the deal. The winner landed the most significant punches regardless of punchstats.

I'm not convinced that Thurman wants any of the smoke with anyone at the kind of realistic purse he is gonna get offered atm.

Nobody wants to see that again. You were dropped in first round by 10 years older man.
