If only he'd had prior experience of cutting weight, but of course this was his first time. If you can't be dedicated for the biggest fight of your career it's not likely to happen ever

Keith like every hyper competitive athlete is still trying to process the loss, breaking it down layer by layer from weight to allowing himself to coast in later rounds. At some point Keith will realize that it’s not the discipline or the skill, it's the will to sacrifice everything to feed the all consuming need to win.

Fans watch fights to see the monster they have come to expect only to become disillusioned when that champion fights another equally talented, skilled and disciplined opponent. Without some total lapse of judgement most elite fights end in a close contest that's won or lost by the smallest margins. The fighter that loses is cast as a bum while the winner, although victorious, will lose the air of invincibility. And for the reasons mentioned and more, the best fighting the best is often times thankless and simply not worth the cost.

One, Jeff Horn didn't beat Manny and given another 3 minutes Manny would have knocked Jeff out cold.

Two, Manny is old and though elite he's no longer special and hasn't been for a long time. The punishment he took from Thurman was a wake up call and either Manny will respect that or go on to eventually take heaver, more long lasting damage.

Often times people who do realize their intelligence is lacking use big words in an attempt to cover it up.

I've talked real Shyt about Keith but I would like to see Keith move on. Keith is far too cerebral for boxing, he has more things to do. Keith should buy some investment property, an electric car and travel with his wife and kids. Don't have kids? Have some and make it your goal to be a great Dad.

“One-Time”?? Maybe in the 1st half of his career wen He was facing c/b-level opposition. “Run-Time” definitely fits the 2nd half of Keith’s career....where He seems to b content moving, not engaging too often, and winning on points.

That's why he's been able to come out on top. He's a smart boxer whos not afraid to experiment inside the ring.

I'd go as far to say, that the Manny fight was very close and Keith was turning the tide in those last rounds

Keith is trying to come back because his wife spent all of his money already. He's not getting another Manny bag, so he better just put his nose to the grindstone and prepare to face one of the lions in the division. We already know he wants no smoke with Bud.
