Wilder vs Fury 2 generated 850K buys but tell me again how Boxing is still bigger than MMA among the public?

Of course the Ultimate Footstomping Championship was going to do big numbers though I think 1.3 wasn't that great given there was absolutely nothing else on TV at all.
Not too mention there was no live gate & all the expenses they had to get the green light with all the testing & such.

That card was expected to do good due to Masvidal being on it who it arguably the biggest ufc Star now that Conor is retired for the 5th time.
But with that said it’s been proven that the ufc inflates it’s numbers BIG TIME!!!!

To be fair, that 850k for Fury/Wilder 2 was US buys only. No numbers were made public for global buys as far as i'm aware but the first fight at least did around 400k buys in the UK alone.
But yeah, the UFC delivers big fights and stacked cards far more consistently, and the UFC brand itself is a draw to some degree.
