How do we rationalize a former champion like Wilder who held a belt hostage without unifying his division. If he was serious about Joshua, how many times did he or his team offer a contract for unification?

Some fans here don't understand how a fight is made. How much time it takes to negotiate a bout. Everything that is published is not always true. They also don't know that actual payment made to boxers are hardly announced. Some it takes a while to get announced as to how much each boxer have received from the total revenue ie, gate plus ppv. Only thing that is announced is what fee the boxers had agreed to. That does not mean he will or will not get more payment after everything had been finalized after the fight. Accountants need to prepare the books well before payment is made. It's not only the boxers who receive money from the income, all promoters involved also take their shares. So please, if you don't understand how this works stay away from making terrible statements. At the end of the day false statements does not make you happy, it actually shows the true color in yourself. Let's show love for all the boxers, our entertainers.

Originally posted by Bonduu View PostThe facts are there, and there is a reason Wilder never fought any unifications, he ran from them, Shelly Winkle protected baby Wilder from the likes of Klitchko, Martin, Parker...If they had confidence that Wilder would beat them then, why didn’t they make the fight? Only one team made those fights and that facts are there, AJ fought Klitchko in his 19th fight, beat Martins at his 16th to become a world champion, at 21 fight he beat Parker, unified champ.
While the one trick pony at his 16th - 32 fight was fighting bums, taxi drivers etc...looking through Wilders resume it’s clear he has been pampered and carefully brought up, his only test came against a washed out Fury, the reason Wilder fought Fury was because Fury was coming off a 3 year layoff, Fury was in piss poor condition, Wilder wanted to add Fury to his resume so he could have more bargaining power against AJ which turned out bad.
Facts speaks volumes man.

Can you picture Frank Warren, a competing promoter, jetting to the U.S. to sit in on negotiations for a fight he has nothing to do with.
That would be like Arum siting in all of Al Hamon's negotiations.
There's more.
Later Warren claimed to front the 50 million only to later say he did not have 50 million.
Too many contradictions and Frank being the lone witness doesn't have credibility. Tony said it best, some times the simple answer is the right answer, Frank lied.

I don't understand, everything on the list is easily verifiable so what's the basis of the negative argument.
