I think so but its not boxing or the fighters faults. Its the promoters

I don't know. how do you measure which sport is more popular. I do know there are about 20 times more pro boxers than pro mma fighters and that the best boxers make many times more money per fight than the best mma fighters. Because there are so few mma fighters a good mma fighter becomes a top 10 contender with just a few wins.

I don't think it matters which sport is more popular. there is room for both sports. I love and watch both sports. It's like football and basketball and which sport is more popular. What does it matter when both sports are very popular and fans can watch lots of whichever sport they prefer or watch lots of both sports if they want. Boxing is my favorite sport but I love watching mma as well. I am glad both sports are doing well or at least they were before the virus came along.

They can have only one champ and make fighters fight each other because Dans White owns and completely controls the UFC. He decides everything. Who is champ and who fights who and how much the fighters get paid and the fighters have sh it to say about it. He underpays his fighters but he is the only game in town. it's his way or leave and go fight for one of the other mma places that pay much less. boxing cannot do that with the WBC,WBO, IBF and wBa and lots of different promoters willing to pay boxers more to fight for them if they are being underpaid. There is boxing guy with the complete power over everything the way White is in UFC mma.

I'm honestly not that sure. I think UFC has better viewership figures on average but I don't think it'll ever hold the same amount of territory in society's collective cultural headspace as boxing does, and the best and most famous UFC fighters will never be as revered as the best and most famous boxers.

Overall yes but the biggest boxing events are much bigger than the biggest UFC events.
