He is a very good gatekeeper. every guy should beat some Takam or Chisora guy first, to deserve any title shot.

Credit to Takam, always turns up in shape and at 2 weeks notice and at 39 you have to applaud that. He almost seems too good to be a gatekeeper, proper handful even at this stage of his career.

The fight write-up by Jake Donovan feels very unfair towards Takam. The first round, for instance, was described as "awkward" but in reality Takam got into his rhythm quickly and scored a number of good shots.

This was a solid and routine win for Takam who keeps proving that he is a tough night's work for anyone out there. Jerry Forest showed toughness but otherwise got dominated.

I'd like to see Takam take on more challengers in the top 20 to see how good he is. He is ranked 29th by Boxrec but I see him somewhere between 15th and 25th.

Takam v Usyk would be a great fight to see.

Rivas is too much for takam at this point but i still need to see it. Will be sad seeing takam stopped though

That was a decent win for the 39 year old Takam. A short notice win vs a decent fighter. Forrest has the looks of a good journeyman who can go rounds. A good C+ level guy. Takam faded a bit down the stretch but pulled out a good final round to seal the deal. I think he is done as a contender though.
