If they aren't fighting til they can get some sexy gate money I'm gonna assume this isn't happening. I highly doubt things will be normal by early October. Would be cool to be wrong but unless they are putting up glass cubicles around every seat I think Oct is wishful thinking with an audience.

Yep. First event this weekend. Very similar sports so idk why you couldn't do the same thing with boxing. Just gotta find the people down to help you & that got a venue.

This must be mentally tough for a lot of fighters. Guys like Loma and Lopez want to fight in front of crowds. Thing is Loma and Lopez know their pay grade and sales gate so they have to surrender to what’s available or sit out.

Would be good if they had stay busy and reschedule unification for 2021.

Does the pay drop keep them thinking that way? Does Arum want the fight to happen without an audience for the same money as originally setup? I won't buy it's official til we are 1 week to 1 month out with the situation we are currently in & how boxing typically works.

Talk is cheap... especially 3 months out when nothing big has happened in boxing for months & nothing seems officially confirmed & the UFC is business as usual. It's a bad look for boxing.
